String trimmers already have it so you can use the power head for a bunch of different tools. Doing it with electric needs a good interface for gearing and speed control.

Due to extreme speed, This will heat ur drill bit faster & making the drill tip fail especially if u drill on a metal. Wouldn't recommend, but That will do if u do not have any drill laying around.

The speed of an angle grinder will burn every drill tip you have, even using oil, they will end up snapping at high speed and send shrapnel everywhere the first time it gets stuck, there is a reason drills don't go that fast

we inherited the house my grandpa built and im discovering his drunk engineering on our pattio fence since he used 3 planks vertically sandwiched inbetween 4 planks horizontally and then the section is screwed onto 2 poles that have been hammered down at the base using the biggest nails you can find. what a great finnish man he was

Probably alright for small holes, bigger holes require slower speeds; usually slightly slower than 14k rpm

When i was a kid before i had my own drill i had a big black n decker buffer and it had a chuck on it for diffrent pads .. i would stick a drill bit im there and wah lah i had a drill lol ot only went one direction tho but it worked well for me until i got a real drill

Normally not without force. Angle grinders use a metric M14 thread while drills mostly use 1/2 '' -20 UNF threads.

My black and decker drill also broke after a few months so i got a dewalt 776

I swear at this point it would be easier to list what you can't do with an angle grinder
Angle grinders are like the Swiss Army knives of power tools - they can handle almost anything!
I'm pretty sure you'll burn your drill bits frequently because that angle grinder (at 11,000 rpm or so) is *way too fast* for any twist drill bigger than 2 mm -- and you'll break a 2 mm bit reliably trying to hand hold that fast a spindle.
Also, with no way to gradually start the angle grinder, you can't start a hole without the drill bit walking right off the work. *AND* this only works because you've got the small cheap 100 mm angle grinder with the 10 mm or 3/8 inch spindle that matches the threads inside that 3/8 (or 10 mm) drill chuck. Any larger/more powerful/variable speed angle grinder will have a 5/8-11 or 14 mm arbor -- and there are no drill chucks that fit those.
Looks like I'll have to keep a fire extinguisher handy for those burning drill bits! Thanks for the heads-up,

You are going to have to spend some cash on a drill bit set that will handle the RPM. Or just friction drill everything.

Tungsten carbide drill bit…. Would eat through lots cause of the high speed, burn it to hell and back and still drill hardened steel. Fair enough till it catches
