I don't know about that... I've bought multiple packs through them, and never gotten a holo or an ultra rare :( I bought a tin in my country and got 2 ex in the same tin... So I'm not that unlucky ;) Proof is on my channel...

Troll&Toad often buys loose packs from random people and resells the packs. Whether or not the packs are weighed depends on the people who sell them to the store. Personally, I bought packs several times from Troll&Toad. Sometimes I had amazing pulls, other times crappy pulls.

Wow, I remember getting those Base Set 2 packs when they were in stores. That was when I was just starting to get into it. Got a bunch of them for Christmas. One of the best times. xD I can't remember if I got any nice holos from those packs, but Nidoking comes to mind.

old packs go for a lot of money by themselves, and regular booster boxes are anywhere from 100 to 150, and since old cards aren't in production it makes them worth it

Yeah i dont trust online card shops when buying loose booster packs, they weight them and gives you the Less likely to have an ultra rare or a holo. Go to the actual store and weight them yourself by hand

The Golbat you have probably has a gold star in the bottom right hand corner of the card but the cards I'm looking for have a gold star right after the Pokemon's name.

In the base set two pack , the card trick is one two and the next two are the reverse holo and the rare.
