Yimie Lam i was just reading your comment there about cantopop but tbh most singers (that speak Cantonese) don’t make pop music. they usually go for dramatic “sad” love songs. most of the songs produced are used in tv series (well at least the ones i listen to) so they do usually come understand the same genre. i would say HANA is one of the best canto singers right now, i recommend you listen to her song “forget myself”. the lyrics are very good, if you know basic Cantonese you might find trouble understanding it all at first. also the soundtrack of “the empress of china” is good but the songs are a little out dated (once again the songs are on more of the dramatic side tbh), secret tears is my favourite. hopefully this helped a little!! if i find anymore i will come back to this video to reply to your comment again hehe

BUT LIKE DAMN TAEHYUNG his cantonese was really good for beginner you can tell he's trying his best tho and he practiced alot cause he looked so serious but hearing Tae speak Cantonese in his deep creamy dreamy voice was beautiful
I'm crying. It's because I wasn't able to get tickets to go to hongkong BTS wings concert. I cried in the first 10 seconds, I love BTS so much. It's the first time hearing them speak in my mother tongue 😭😭 I can't stop crying. I never got a chance to see them live. Ever😭
