Raptor Lining My Nissan Navara Kingcab & Hardtop

  • In this episode we're looking back at when I raptor lined my truck with a fully custom paint job to not only protect it from the elements but also to make my mark.
    I am in no way affiliated with the Car Doctor or Raptor from Upol & this was all personally funded.
    I used a local company to have the spraying work done but had considered doing a home application, this was an easier route in the long run and meant that I could focus on preparation and other bits to add to the truck after its facelift.
    Keep your eyes peeled for future episodes where I reveal the tuck after the paintwork, suspension lift, new tyres & wheels and take it for an r&d session in the Salisbury plains.

    While I'm still recovering from some injuries I'm releasing some episodes about my navara build, this will be helping me with bushcraft adventures in the future. In the mean time there will be some bushcraft videos also coming out soon. Thanks for checking in

    It's just a mode of transport Liam, a vehicle to get about in is all mate, Salisbury Plain, my back garden, my playground.

    • @PrimalNomad
      @PrimalNomad  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha Definitely, just something I'd wanted to do to help the longevity of the vehicle if I intend to keep it till its death 😂. Loved the plains, you're lucky to be so close 👍.

    Do you mind me asking how much it cost to have a body shop do it? Thanks

      It was around 1.5~2k, they did polish and do quite a few other bits in that as well like re fibreglass parts on the canopy etc. Took about a week. In hindsight I'd probably do it myself given what I know now but I don't regret it at all, the lines came out so well.

    Okay, this is three years old. Turn off the background music. It is beyond me why TH-cam content creators think playing background music over their voice is somehow enhancing their videos, it is not, it is distracting. We came to hear you, not to fight background music which quickly becomes extremely annoying and intrusive. Many folks have hearing difficulties, thus while concentrating on your voice they must also concentrate on tuning out the music; frustrating. Your background music ruins an otherwise exceptionally good presentation.

      Fair points! I'll try to lower the music in the background much more, usually it's in place to accommodate for a lack of audio on clips or very loud peaking that would be far worse on the ears. In this case a sanding machine & sprayer droning prevented any in the moment filming. Thanks for watching!
