Canola establishment: Low rainfall zones of Western Australia | WA

A joint investment between GRDC and Living Farm is aiming to solve the issue of canola establishment in the low rainfall zones of Western Australia. Fourteen trials based on a plus or minus model have been set up at locations including Yuna, Morawa, Merredin, Southern Cross, Bruce Rock, Hyden and Salmon Gums. The results from the trials will provide canola growers with resources to increase establishment rates, particularly in dry seasons.
