I'd take cts-xhp over s30v, but agree with everything else. I have the raffir noble chaparral which gives it such a cool look. I'm not that big a fan of small knives but the chaparral is a great one thanks to that super thin blade.
Awesome video! I’ve been eyeballing the chaparral for a month or so. Now I’m gonna pull the trigger on one. Sometimes I need something lighter than my Manix 2 lightweight.
Benchmade has brought the Bugout model into their Custom Knife Builder service. You can choose glass-filled nylon and G10 in multible colors and blade in M4, cpm s30v, cpm 20cv. very cool.
Man yeah...i own both of these knives and I agree...however i dont have a mini bugout due to the color schemes. But I always thought the bugout could be smaller. And now they have one.
@@mt24Carson one knife? How dare you speak of such tragedies! It's really a toss up...i have a feeling it like a mini bugout best. The video says it best...chaparral is so grippy, spicy, and light. And mine is custom maroon with an acid wash blade. Xhp is easier to sharpen also. Fidget factor to benchmade. Flip a coin...or ...........ROTATE😁

very cool.
excellent video and premise (lightweight carry), much appreciated !
Great comparison, exactly what I wanted to see now.
Very valid points made I must agree. Thanks for the review.
Just sold my Bugout to pay for the Chaparral. No regrets, I like it better. I can never go back to anything but wire clips and the ergos are so nice
Good review
Well done 👍 thanks 😊
Informative video, thanks. Wonder if a Chaparral vs *mini Bugout would yield different results?

@@49shadesofj Interesting. Which would you choose if you could only have one?

@@49shadesofj Haha, true. I tend to be a less > more guy so will choose between one or the other...or maybe the mini Ritter Hogue? Hmm....
Should have done the mini Bugout
0:30 a $9,500 knife holy shit!! you're loaded!
Have and like both knives. For fidget spinning, Bugout is the clear winner. But for actual use as a knife, I turn to the Chaparral almost every time.
Both fantastic knives! I like the slicing ability of the Chaparral a bit better, But both hall of fame blades.
