I cannot believe that Sonny has been there for twenty-six years! He's not a Disney character, he's not part of any ride or attraction, yet they've seen fit to keep him there and upkeep his maintenance for all these years. That's really something. And he's in great condition to this day! He deserved his own Saturday morning cartoon show or movie! And am I alone in thinking that 'Bright Little Star' is almost good enough for a Disney love ballad? It's SO SWEET.
Love the backstory! I saw Sonny for the first time early this month and it was awesome! The cast member seating people was kindly going to put us back near the registers in what I'm sure was an effort to space people apart but I put my foot down and said "NO, we need to be next to Sonny!" (I was friendly of course and she was happy to oblige) and it was the best meal I ate at Disney World.
This video is so well researched, written, and put together, I cannot understand how it doesn't have thousands of views. Very awesome and loved learning the history of my favorite animatronic, thank you 💜
Sucks man I was re-recording my old family videos from the 80s and 90s but can’t watch them sense my dad passed... it’s just to painful and I can’t even watch them with out breaking down. Love your videos I just have a hard time watching them some times now. Y’all are great 👍

It doesn't surprise me that Sonny used to be in a Star Tours ride. He reminds me a lot of Max Rebo, in that they're both keyboard players that resemble grey African giants.

Indeed, Sonny is crucial to the overall Tomorrowland narrative. And absolutely, the Cosmic cuisine leaves more to be desired. It's shocking that in comparison to the other three parks, the quick service options in all of Magic Kingdom are comparably terrible.

Amazing! The restaurant as a whole is huge! But your friendly resolve definitely rewarded you with the best seat in the house.
