I just bought this vehicle in the 2016 model! Same color, wheels, leather, etc. Mine has a 2.4 liter engine and 6-speed automatic. (I think that's a change for 2016). Only driven 200 miles but I really like it so far.

I've had my 2014 high altitude for over a month now and it's honestly been freaking awesome. Even with just FWD mine gets me through a lot living in the country. Damn good mpg and nice and quiet. I don't get where all the negativity comes from except what happens all over the place is that you just so happened to get a junky ride which comes in all shapes and sizes lol
Everything is good about this vehicle except the cup holder in the middle seats on the 2nd row. Are they removable? If not, that is a bad design. If I have 5 passengers, where is the person in that middle seat going to put his/her legs? The leg room is just too narrow in that seat.

Usually when they discontinue a vehicle its because their not selling too great and being replaced with another vehicle...Im guessing the Jeep Renegade. just an fyi

it's so funny Jimmy they have the high altitude and the only thing I see different than the sport is a power outlet and some leather seats are you kidding me? That's super funny this thing is a slow turd with no power whatsoever I've had mine in the shop 13 times since I bought ! never will I ever buy a jeep again

I had the misfortune of having a Patriot as a loaner and it was a really bad experience. Cheap interior, weak power output going up hills, transmission vibration, and it looked like they cheaped out hard on every single part. If you want a smaller SUV and want to keep it American, get a Ford Escape, or Chevy Equinox. Otherwise, there are millions of better alternatives (RAV4, Rogue, CRV to name a few).
