When you hear the Pacific Rim theme in this fight, it makes you almost root for the Jaegers and the Rangers who pilot them. But when you know how powerful Godzilla is, you know that Godzilla is far more dangerous than any Kaiju the Jaegers have ever faced and that the Jaegers have little to no chance of slaying the King of the Monsters.

For those complaining about godzilas' size here:
While it is true he IS smaller than the mega kaiju, however the mega kaiju is around 10,000 tones, godzilla 2014 is around 90,000 tones. Even if he was just barely bigger the the Jaeger`s(not to mention that he is about 50-85 feet taller than them), they wouldn't be able to move him much less actually hurt him.
P.S. the mega kaiju still tossed the Jaegers around like ragdolls, so the chances of Godzilla not doing even more damage to them is 0...

Also, Gipsy Avenger is actually 81.77 meters, so he is actually taller than Danger.
The Mega Kaiju can't be 10 000 tons, since if it was then the Jaegers wouldn't be able to scratch him in the movie.

I love Pacific Rim and i know this is only for fun and not to be accurate and great job btw but i only want to point out that 2014 Godzilla weight around 90 000 tons and tanked Castle Bravo. Jaegers weight around 2000-2500 tons and their durability is not even close to Godzilla. Godzilla would tear them apart like lego toys. And Del Toro stated that 2014 Godzilla would be probably a category 8 Kaiju in Pacific Rim universe.
The first jagears weigh around 7k tons
Jaegers sink, so therefore they weigh about 15k tons. And Slattern tanked a 80 megaton bomb (I pixel measured it) and his durability scales somewhat to the Jaegers.

I guess this is as close as we can get to see a crossover seeing as the original basis for the speculation that Godzilla and King Kong could crossover with the Pacific Rim universe was that they shared a production company in Legendary. However, this was always a little unlikely, as it would involve coordination between the film series’ current production companies.
Playing at 0.75 makes it look like a legit Pacific Rim scene.

I think a scenario more feasible is: the Jaegers going to fight a Kaiju signal just to find Godzilla beating the Kaiju ass death... then they would probably analyze why 2 Kaijus are fighting, just to find that Godzilla despite the radiation levels looks like is composed the materials from Earth and doesn't have the physiology of the Kaijus. They might fight, but in the end, they will only monitore her.

Depends on the Godzilla. Godzilla 2014 would probably be attacking other kaijus as they showed up. So I'm guessing humanity would've figured that one out eventually and probably used Godzilla to buy time for evacs than actively fighting Godzilla. The Old Godzillas would probably lose considering that humanity has beaten them before without a giant robot. As for Shin Godzilla... hard to tell. Considering Shin continued to evolve even after being defeated, could be 50/50.
And finally Godzilla Earth...yeah no, just shut up and pray he doesn't step on you.
I would say all the Godzilla's that are above 75 meters would win. The beams would melt the mechs.
Shin Godzilla would break them quickly if they didn't cut into him quick enough in the back. They probably would go for the head, which would result in nothing but an unfazed Godzilla.

Clearly, this needed to be done. I had thought of something similar, but with Godzilla attacking the other Kaiju instead of the Jaegers. They at first try to attack Godzilla, but quickly come to an understanding... he's there to protect Earth, and is on their side.

This match is obviously one-sided, but you can't deny, it's more respectable and better executed match-up to the Jaegers compared to fight with Otachi and Leatherback, especially Cherno Alpha who got to show off it's muscles and missiles which I didn't know existed.

It doesn't really matter. If Godzilla sees something that's out of balance, then he will restore in everyway possible. Godzilla probably thought that the jaegers were stopping the balance so he attacked them.

Loved it, great job! I'm sure it took hard work for this awesome video.
But I just respectfully want to point out that Godzilla weighs over 90,000 tons and is more than twice the height of the Jaegers. He'd of easily ripped them apart within seconds like he destroys buildings. Perhaps only their agility would buy them minutes in a dedicated battle, but we're not even taking Godzilla's atomic breath into consideration here.

It's pretty good, but there are two problems. His breath weapon is WAY stronger (that's sort of like it was in the first film after he just woke up), and he doesn't hunt down and kill helpless stuff (except Ghidorah). Once the Jaeger ceased to be a threat he'd ignore it.
If you ever did a part 2 I would suggest a Kaiju interrupts them and they team up. Create a partnership of convenience. Then Godzilla wouldn't see Gypsy as a threat and the humans could decide to wait until they knew more before they attacked again.

GJ, when animating you should take into account how big these opponents are. The movements look too fast/exaggerated for that scale. The Jaegers also shouldn't look at each other like that since they communicate on coms and them looking at each other seems strange.

Honestly, Godzilla looks like an idiot here. The atomic breath was like nothing. And he literally took off female muto’s head off with atomic breath, how much more with robots that weigh around 2 thousand pounds? Atomic breath will go right threw the Jaegars. Also he is huge in size.
But that’s just my opinion. I give you so much credit for your hardwork. And the film was a crowd pleaser.

Love the animation although if this was real the Jaegers would stand no chance in winning as Godzilla’s weight is 90k tons and most of the Jaegers are about 1k-10k tons all it would take is a clean stomp and they would be down
