Dear Nat Geo WIld Team, please launch an awareness campaign to educate people that animals, especially pets, do not transmit COVID-19 to humans. In Egypt, for instance, many people got rid of their pets for fear that they might be a contributory factor to getting infected with COVID-19. Thanks!
Great video about Dr. Hodges and Dr. Ferguson. I shared it with the Wildlife Rescue Association in British Columbia, because I have seen and reported to them a Canada goose with a broken leg about 5 days ago. I didn't see it again until today and so it must now be approximately 7 days with a broken leg. I only wish we had some people just like them nearby. Catching a goose in Canada requires a permit because they are protected. It doesn't seem like it would be easy to catch a goose especially since the goose is by a river that is an estuary. I also wonder if there would be further injury if the goose couldn't be caught easily.

I have a goose with a broken leg and I don’t know what to do. Already called a rehabber but since we live at the beach, volunteers are not coming to help and are more concerned about other animals since geese are all over.

tas tiger people keep domesticated wild geese, ducks, and turkeys some you need a permit to keep them.
