Been a big fan of Casey’s work since his Speedhunters days. Seeing him live out my dream every step of the way has been amazing. The guy is a legend in my eyes, I see some parallels between his path and Alec’s. I’m a huge fan of his photography and videography work too!
I randomly met the man himself picking up parts from an Australia post when I first got into drifting IRL, my friend had showed me Meihan and I was (still am) obsessed with his YT raws.. I really wanted a shifter and stickers at the time but couldn't afford it. The car I parked next to had one of his shifters and I saw this guy wearing a Shirtstuckedin hat and talking about Japan. I put 2 and 2 together and thought it was his car. I said "nice shifter bro!" He replied with simply "thanks" and continued walking out the store.. I didn't realise at the time he is the owner lol. I came across his face later on, on his YT and I was like WTF. Super humble. Super inspiring. p.s. Thanks for the great informative videos, learn so much from your channel
I actually got quite emotional at the rolling shots with the MKII in the forest. Such a beautiful place. I hope i can move to Japan one day. Planning my 4th trip for next yr.
Great video, Casey is an inspiration to so many and works incredibly hard to maintain that effortlessly cool lifestyle. He is the epitome of following a dream. I was with Casey on his first trip to Japan and I remember the pure stoke we had standing on the wall of Mobara twin watching Japanese drifting for the first time. 15 years later he is that guy who’s gonna inspire the next generation whilst keeping the spirit and style of drifting alive. 🫶🏻
Love love love this! Casey is elite and his style is so good! I do like the transition into TH-cam for both of you. I always loved your speed hunters articles/photos, same with Casey's. TH-cam/video as a medium does make you feel more engaged with creators/writers/photographers. It just adds an extra layer of depth. Both of you deserve all the success you've achieved and is coming your way!
Definitely need more on Casey. Been following his stuff since the blog days so it's great to see his space and a very well produced video. Deeper back story would be cool too. Thank you for your videos Dino.
Casey is the best, super nice and really helpful. He managed to talk Naoki into making me B-Knuckles when they were not for offer. If I remember correctly, this was around x-mas time. Absolute Legend and a really really nice photographer, too.
Wonderful To see Casey doing so well. I remember taking pics along side a young Casey around 06/07 at 15-16yo taking pics at QR and archy with a huge camera. Wonderful to see him still rocking the life!
Casey your passion and style has always inspired me, the reference of looking inside a car and looking at the finer details that make you want to be in that space is so true, thank you for everything you’ve done for the community🫡
I often watch casey's youtube channel. and I didn't expect that you know him too I know casey's youtube channel from kota the yoda and casey is one of the very good drifters with aggressive drift or kansai drift
Casey always was one of the people in drifting that inspired me, even before he went to Japan. But moving to Japan and becoming one of the best drivers there is something you may watch in some movie. It's unreal. The dedication to drifting, to driving good, constantly improving yet he seems like just very humble guy. Really good video.
Just came back from one of the seasons last car meets and straight to this vid. This has to be Danny Rick's lost drifting brother 😁🫶🏻 great video as always Dino🤙🏻
I must say Dino, what an amazing video. I look forward enjoying every upload. You and Alec put in so much work it shows. The passenger pov driving through the mountains genuinely gave the feeling of actually being there in the car. Wow
So cool to see this, you being on YT and seeing where Casey is. Still remember meeting him at the Drift Matsuri in 2010. Been out of the car scene / social media for years. But so awesome to see you all doing well!
casey is the goat. god i feel so old, talking about how nigel made the headers and insane Drifters, and im here nodding my head knowing exactly what youre talking about. 😭
@@dino_dc I also had a 1987 Crown Royal Saloon Supercharger with the full burgundy on burgundy velour interior - that was like driving a fast high-class bordello!
That old B Wave wing brings back memories! 😅 I wonder how long this guy has been in Japan? I think I remember seeing him and his older Silvia in an old 'Battle Magazine' from the early 2000's
Nice Dino I've been waiting for this! Casey seems like such a humble dude first time I've ever seen his face. Love how he attacks all the legendary Japanese drift tracks! Best way to get in contact with him to see about supporting his 2025 move into D1? Great vid once again-Molte Grazie!
Just watched this in preparation for my first japan trip in 2 weeks! Unfortunately there wont be any drifting at Meihan while im in Osaka but damn Nara is so beautiful I may as well spend a night in the countryside there anyway.
@@dino_dc Do you know of any car meets/shows or drift events scheduled for early-mid November? I've scoured the internet but haven't came across anything. I'll be in many parts of the country so location isn't too important. More than anything I'd love a Kyusha meet. Any info would be appreciated!!!
unreal video - talented boys ❤ see you guys again soon x
Thanks man, we’ll be down again 🤙🏻
I've seen this guys name everywhere for years but never knew a thing about him, thank you for putting this episode together

Casey is the man and a hell of a driver. You're always clutch with the music also.
Finally the Shirtstucked in backstory. So much more to see, I hope he shares more on his channel. 💯
Bro the way you stand in the middle of the road without a worry in the world is legendary.
Love to see Casey killing it. Whenever we’ve crossed paths in aus and jp he’s the nicest guy
Casey is awesome!
Best vid so far imo. Loving the authentic car enthusiast vibe. Don't need the ultra mega bucks to do something cool.
@@hatchetworkshop7750 i agree with you wholeheartedly

I lived in Iwakuni in 1983 and remember those types of cars very well...a lot of boso-style cars 😎
2 of my inspiration into photography, i had to re watch on my TV, phone viewing just doesnt do it justice
Thank you 🙏
Stance suspension is so overlooked I had a custom set in my 240 for about 7 years and they still felt great !
the stone cold face through the tunnel killed me! hahahahahahahaha😂😂😂🔥🔥
Loving the Mark II! Back in the late 90's in NZ, I had a Chaser Avante with the light blue crush velvet upholstery.

Rather comical how he keeps a straight face while revving it in the tunnel lol
Never heard about him but i hope everything goes well for him and my dream car always was the S13 turbo

That's one of the brands that come up often out there. I did recognize it as "the people with NA Nissan power", but nothing as complete as this.
