That’s good advice and my thoughts exactly. However, if it was meant to be helpful and not a criticism, then ok. I think you’re doing great and I’m sure you’ll do fine once you’ve done it awhile. I’ve been thinking about doing videos but I’m quite introverted and worry that family or people I know would think it’s silly. Made me laugh when you said that about your kids in an earlier video because that’s how I feel. I think your ideas for future videos sound really good. The soup videos sound good as do the gardening videos.
I watch because I enjoy your content but it’s equally fun watching you gain confidence and add quality to your videos. I’m influenced to try making/growing my own sprouts. I’ve only ever had grocery store and restaurant sprouts.
Just saw the new video with ice storm, I can’t find it again, my children just moved to Indiana & are going thru this storm, it is a bit frightening, I am praying for all of them, I will pray for your son traveling mercies. If that’s ok with you. Hope you read this. That video just disappeared.
Hi Kathleen. Thank you for your content. Its so soothing and interesting. You come across so well, down to earth and just like a friend chatting with us about her day/week. If you say uumm every now and then (which I personally hadn't noticed you did! 😊) then so be it, dont spend any time thinking about that, we all do it in natural conversation, which is what your videos feel like. Im in the UK, so im interested in seeing what's the same and what's different in our groceries and lifestyles. Im in my mid 50s and hoping to retire earlier rather than later myself so have set myself on the path to that by saving, thrifting, using up before buying new etc and am just happy to see your content along the way. Best wishes and Happy New Year to you. Love, Lou in the UK x
I think that you are doing great and are a very sweet person! I truly wish in the new year people would be less critical of people!! I’m sure everyone does something that is annoying, I find no fault with anything on your videos! Sending love ❤️ and blessings 🙏🏼.
I would enjoy watching you make the sprouted bean burgers. I have made black bean burgers, but never thought of using my sprouts in them. Also, I enjoy watching cooking videos. No one makes soups or other meals the same way, so I usually learn something new watching how people make their meals. You are doing great with your videos, stay focused on what you enjoy, and your audience will enjoy your interests with you.😊
I didn’t even notice you saying um. I have the same problem when making videos. It wasn’t as bad when I filmed my cat because I’m talking directly to him but when I was making game play videos I was constantly doing it and the more I tried to stop the more I did it. For me I think it came from being nervous. Nice grocery hall. I like seeing the kind of things people bring home. Take care Kathleen.
I have never seen a sprouter like that! That seems way easier than rinsing and draining sprouts in a jar multiple times a day! Super cool😎 Looking forward to your bean burger adventures🙂
Hi Kathleen, I love ❤ your channel and how down to earth you are, look into your local food banks, they are there to help and lots of people visit them specially now because food is so expensive and make pantry haul content videos, I would absolutely watch ☺️ stay humble and much luck in growing your channel.

My husband will retire next year (I'm disabled), so we're preparing for that. We plant 2 gardens each summer & 1 in the fall. Our veggies provide extra food all year. We can tomatoes, sauce, salsa, etc., we freeze other things like okra, corn, peas, & beans. We also make our own sausage & smoke it in the smokehouse that my husband built. We're hoping to raise laying hens again. We rarely eat out (I'm on a limited diet). No fast food, no soft drinks, make our own snacks most of the time. I also make homemade dog food to supplement the dry kibble. I love watching videos like this one. It helps us to learn how others are saving money.
@@kathleensmith6200 It is a lot of work, but so worth it. We produce buckets of food & share with about 10 families each year. We also share with my mom, who's 83. I wish you could have chickens also.

I had my compost delivered just before Christmas. I’ve used all my produce from the garden already, and am living on fresh fruit and vegetables from the store, and things from my pantry and freezer. I use tomato products the most out of the garden, and onions. It’s really hard to live on a budget these days.

Hi Kathleen. I love your videos. You may think this is to soon to ask but I think you're the right person to ask. I don't even know how to download to PC or create a file 😕 I been thinking about starting a TH-cam channel and I can't figure it how to do it. THANK YOU. no pressure 😊😊
I don't think I have the capability to do that right now. I have trouble finding my videos after I download them from my phone to my laptop, then get them onto TH-cam. I did watch other TH-cam videos that helped me some.
@@rocioshapley2812 I watched a few that I don't remember but this guy was one of them, he has several videos on helping new youtubers: th-cam.com/video/rbn0DAGclBw/w-d-xo.html

I am, only been here since around 2000 on and off. Moved originally from Arizona where my ex was stationed in the Air Force. That's how we met, both stationed in Germany.
I've been thinking about starting a TH-cam channel. Is there any information that you have to do to start this channel? Also, do you look at sales ads for your grocery stores and vs costco or Sam club. How much do you budget your grocery every month or bi-weekly?
I watched a lot of "how to" videos before I started my channel. I downloaded Capcut to edit them but learned how to do it on my first video. You can tell by the mistakes I made that I'm learning. If I'm going to Kroger to shop I do sometimes look at the ads but not always because I usually just get a few items from there these days. I don't have a Costco or Sams membership because they're at least a 40 minute drive away from me. I've started a $200 a month budget for all household goods, food, toiletries, paper goods, dog food. But I have a stockpile of food right now and frozen garden produce.

That's the problem that I'm having, would you mind sharing the video that help you? Thanks
@@rocioshapley2812 I watched a few that I don't remember but this guy was one of them, he has several videos on helping new youtubers: th-cam.com/video/rbn0DAGclBw/w-d-xo.html
Nutty Oat bread, in my Walmart Grocery app,is not available in store, but you can buy for $4.97 with $5.99 shipping. I live in Vegas. Weird, right? 🙂
That is weird.
Tomato sauce is just tomato paste water down. You might save a few pennies by not buying the tomato sauce.
Thanks
Dont let people be critical of you. Its easy for them to do that when you cant point Out Their Flaws ignore them pointing out yours. And i bet they are FULL of -----bs--- .flaws, Youre doin just fine.
Thank you
I used to sprout all the time but since I’ve moved can’t find the seed, I have nice sprouting jars. Where do you get yours ? Are you in the south?
I got my seeds from Handy Pantry, which looks like has merged with True Leaf Market now. I'm in Kentucky
Where do you live--your weather?
Central Kentucky. Just checked and it's currently 34 F and apparently we may get snow tonight. I thought it wasn't supposed to come until Sunday.
In your previous videos, you stated that you have garden spots, have you canned tomatoes?
No, the only thing I ever canned were pickled beets and that was years ago. I just freeze my tomatoes now.
Morning up @3am here💕☕️👋
DID YOU SAY WHERE YOU'VE MOVED FROM TO GET TO KENTUCKY? Is it?
Sounds like ur NEW THERE..
I already think that you are amazing, now i hear you do your taxes. I would not attempt that!
I use Tax Act, used to use Turbo Tax. Was thinking of using the free government site this year but not sure it will be there come tax time.
You get a lot of things “ pointed out” so why do your commentators not run a you tube channel of their own….
Right now I'm just taking it as helpful advice. ( :
I guess some of it is
