I absolutely loved this! I don't play magia record and this alongside the dialogues are so good!! Not to mentions its literally an hour and a half. This should get tons of likes!!
Some more things I couldn't fit into the description due to the character limit: If you've watched the Stage I-III videos and/or the Kuroe video, you've probably noticed some recurring musical tracks. Movin has become my traditional Stage I start, Pressure Cooker for Stage II, and Demilitarized Zone for Stage III. The other tracks used in each stage vary between videos, but there are some common entries for those, too. This video treated each set as a stage, bringing a mix of familiar and new music to the table. I've been sitting on Spy vs Spy (set 1 boss) and Driven to Madness (penultimate boss) since my Stage I video, and am glad I finally got a chance to use them. Most of the music I've used has been from the TH-cam Audio Library, though I've used a dash of Nintendo music as early as the Kuroe video. It turns out their revised copyright guidelines aren't as harsh as they used to be. You will, however, get copyright blocked for using any music from Magia Record. I really wanted to use the in-game music for the cutscenes, though, so I successfully got the block lifted under fair use. Because the storyline for Escort Mission: Kuro was originally unplanned, many elements of it arose organically as pure happenstance. The aptly-timed throwback to the Rabi + Asahi wave from Stage III, for example, was good luck on my part. Due to the cast being chosen by the gameplay, I actually had to do some research on the characters in this video who I hadn't included in story before, to make sure I portrayed them correctly. In retrospect, I forgot to read Chika's personal story... As far as happenstance goes, there _were_ a few things I was able to be proactive about. For example, I used a team heal memoria to top off everyone's HP at the end of each fight, but if you've finished the video, you'll understand why a certain character was the one using it. I try to time music to the fights to the best of my ability. If it seems like the final beat of a track lines up perfectly with the finishing blow, that's not a coincidence. This often requires some sleight-of-hand behind the scenes, however. Splicing video usually has some wiggle room, but some audio splicing is inevitable, as well. I do my best to splice tracks cleanly, but some of the transitions are noticeable if you're listening for it. We still don't have any Attribute Enhancement, as I feel that would make these challenges too easy. The only attribute I enhanced was Void, since there are no capped Void characters, and there probably never will be... and then they released Mabayu. Whoops! I'll just go a bit light on her Spirit Enhancement to compensate. I don't have enough SE materials to upgrade her much anyway... ^^; Yes, I counted the damage every character dealt by hand. I didn't have room to fit it in the description, but the piano track at 1:17:47 is "Disintegrating", by Myuu. th-cam.com/video/piFJVwr1YYA/w-d-xo.html Aaaand, yep, that's all I got! I think! But if I do think of more stuff, I might add it below. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
Ha ha ha, yeah, I _have_ been thinking about that! Though not with a capped team, of course: I haven't even seen anyone beat a Despair witch with a team of uncapped three-stars. Even with natural four-stars, the Despair witches are brutal for non-whales, but I have been theorizing a way to beat Despair Gertrud with Kuro in tow. I don't think I have enough slots on my support characters to pull it off right now, but fortunately, unlike Battle Museum and 100 Evils, the Despair witches are permanent content, so I can always challenge them later when my team is better built.
Rewatching this series I’m still amazed with the story you made from what started as a simple challenge. Seeing the production and editing start with just text to using live 2d models is just wonderful. Love the work you put into your videos!
Aaah, thank you! I never expected to hear anyone _re_ watching this series, so I don't know what to say, other than that I'm flattered. I didn't expect things to get here when I first started these challenges, myself. And now, every video I released in the past year has been related to Magia Record in some way. I wonder when the next non-Magia Record video will be. I'm not really complaining, though; my video output this year has been _way_ higher than any other. And it's comments like these that make it all worthwhile. Happy to know you liked it.

@@Darkstar_0 I smell some Kagura+Himika combination
Wait, actually, some provoke shenanigans is also possible
Either way, good luck!

What an amazing finale! But I sure hope this won't be the last time we see Kuro on your channel :) Keep up the great work!
