this man did not save new york using data science......this is just cops after decades, centuries even after sherlock holmes was written after the first police department was established eons and eons ago, discovering for the first time how they can actually fight crime....almost like a cavemen discovering that by banging two rocks together..... the power of wielding fire for the first time.
if u watched the movie space odyssey 2001, like the monkey picking up the femur bone first flipping it over and over, then slamming it over the skull bone harder and harder and with greater determination each time........just like detective johnson here sticking a red pin with a string tied to it into a wall....humanity or man ape discovered the act of using tools,of purpose and intent for the first time.
u could almost hear the excited chimpanzees i mean police officers outside his office observing this momentuous act, jumping up and down screeching "oooh ooooh ahhhhh ahhhh!!!!!!"

TH-cam's algorithm had a hard time relating this video to his usual videos and this he received less views.

You taught us how massively beneficial data can be but also noted how there is a human behind each point of data and that we cannot allow ourselves to become jaded upon that fact. I loved the little call for action at the end, saying "that's where you come in". And my god, the production quality was magnificent! I really forgot I was on TH-cam.
