Hi do the solar panels charge the batteries fully ? Is it also charging via the grid and how much does it use while charging from the grid as iv heard people buying inverters nd no solar panels which inturns skyrockets the elec bill
Thank you for the video, highly informative. We've been looking for a solar provider in the Eastern Cape similar to this(which doesn't seem to be available) so we are not too sure on who to choose (in fear of possibly being conned 😅)
Thank you for the video. Sunsynk is a great product and works so well in South Africa. Those batteries have a 0.5C rating. Did they advise you that you can only pull 5000watts from those batteries?
@@Captain-Picard42what's it 12 panels? At 4 to 6k a panel. 8kw Inverter and 2 x 5kw batteries min 120k that alone then add another 60 odd for the panels and another 12 to 20k to install those
It doesn't matter cos you just call them if you want to paint or repair the roof and they come nd disconnect for the day then reconnect again free of charge.
@@jacobshome7293smart plan. So how do u paint under the panels and where they poked holes through the sheets and it starts rusting which leads to leaks and ceilings and even worse. Can we call them to come fix too??
@@senormystery721 You remove the panels when you want to do maintenance and if there is rust where they drilled holes for solar panels you just patch up then they come and install the panels again from scratch. Its not difficult to install and remove the panels, you can do it yourself after just watching them do it if you know how to drill. Even easier to remove it yourself if there are no leaks cos you wont be drilling. Just gotta be careful though, cos if you dont know what you doing you can get electrocuted.
Neates installation I've come across.
Nice setup you have there
Very clean and tidy installation. I love it. How much did this cost you?

Nice setup, enjoy it!
6:37 In Cape Town, are you able to feed back onto the grid? Coz from your app it looks like its not the case.
Hi.The system does allow it.There are a few extra this you have to do like install a special meter, etc. We have not gone that route as yet
Nice video Andre. Very helpful 👍
what in your house can run off the batteries

Are you sure about that? My batteries look the same and are rated as 1C continuous and 2C burst.
What does 1C and 2C mean. I have seen that and busy shopping around for a system to install
Hi - we have almost the same setup, quick one, how did you get the Sunsynk app into dark mode?
Hi.It automatically went to dark mode because the phone Is in dark mode.
Cost of whole system and installation? Just paid for exactly same setup, installation happening end of april...
Hi Chris.what did your setup cost +-?

None of the gear in DBs are marked
Could you not have at least painted your roof first? It's rundown with such a beautiful system on top.
Dumb fkin statement
