I bought the 1st Album when it came out. I never saw this one or saw it mentioned in rock mags. I bought back then. THIS ALBUM IS EXCELLENT... I would have recognized that too if I had a chance to have bought an album back then. "1st song 2nd side wow!"
When you consider how many albums came out the same year this did it's no surprise. Wikipedia says 4000 albums and 5700 singles were released in the US in 1970. Unless you already had an established audience of some size you had to get lucky to get noticed. "Hope For The Future" might have been a good choice for a single given the Crosby, Stills, and Nash style harmonies.
@@inversion66 the Teac simusync (sp?) was a 10 Inch 4 channel reel-to-reel under $4,000 in 1974. My friend bought his in the service and when he go it at home he was a very very important person to all the musicians and bands. .... cheaper opportunities & computers well that pretty much spelled the end of just a bunch of guys from the same neighborhood vibrancy competing against well trained Shirley Temples (Not that that is bad). ... STILL, Now I call it (music) 'Music Entertainment' adding "If you can't close your eyes and see the show, then you are not listening to music."
