Watched the whole thing. The Allo is seriously growing on me more and more. It's a dino with a lot of potential but it's also one that requires a certain amount of skill to do good with it and i love that extra bit of challenge. Kind of like the dasp, a bad player will always to bad with a dasp. I'm a sucker for underdogs lol ;-) Nice vid.
Agreed on you about daspletos. They have 2 bites that can change the side of a 1v1 but still most of the times i die (even if is not clans or megapacks) You have any tips for my daspleto?
I agree 100%, imo it just needs more unique abilities, which iirc its been planned to have some sort of grapple ability at some point, and I think it also needs a tlc like sucho, cerato, etc. (which is very likely considering its old model, I just hope it gets one hopefully pretty soon)
Bro the amount of times I got bullied when playing allo is crazy. Now each time I see an allo player all I can think of is free food like the only time allo is got a chance is when he's in a large group other wise your going to be dead in no time like a small raptor can kill you and you can't do anything about it. It also depends on the skill level, allo is pretty popular so you can expect a lot of allos with varying skill ranges throughout the game. A single laten or deinon shouldn’t be a problem at all for a good allo, unless theyre REALLY good. Allo is pretty strong, its just very bare-bones when it comes to abilities that make it stand out. Its also got a pretty big skill ceiling, so a bad player will get destroyed pretty easily but a good player might hold their own really well, even against a big pack.
I think allo is easy to play, but hard to get “good” or “skilled” with, as its playstyle and ability set atm are very basic but it can be turned over easily if youre not really used to it, as it has relatively bad turning for its size for example and just kinda feels clunky overall right now. Hopefully it gets a TLC update and new abilities soon!
The Cera's thrash does do a good chunk of damage, but, they also take a % of the damage dealt from thrash, back to them as damage for some reason. It has a 2 second cooldown I think.
Yeah I know, but the damage recieved is barely enough from my experience, and its cooldown isnt enough in my opinion, its still spammable compared to other two slot bite abilities on most creatures, like dasps heavy bite for example.

@@Sr_V2 Agreed if you play your cards right and allo can beat a kentro, on one of the deathmatch servers I was playing allo and 1v1 a kentro. Even though you’re a sub apex just don’t go face tanking a kentro it will still hurt alot. Claw to get bleed, occasional bite, and tail attack most of the time to chip away

idk why but here is a tip on fighting kentros as allo:spam tail whip, thats it. i dont even know how it worked but one time i was fighting a kentro on a deathmatch server and i constantly tailwhipped it and the next thing i know it was on deathscars, so after that i just went in for a couple of bites and it was dead
I personally dont prefer it because of the stam penalty and its actually only 15% increased turning with that build now, as traction gives 10% and balanced tail 5%, plus turn builds are usually pretty op and I dont like op builds so I use long distance runner, but you can use whatever they just have different playstyles, and traction for PvP is pretty good.

Hello, Allo main here! Recently started playing dasp. Allo has a good kit but stuff is missing... Is 84% perfect.. dasp feels like 47% complete. Sucho feels like it has too much... Like dmg, easy escape strategy, and better stam than Allo.. on land. As an allo, dasp won't even get me to half... One cerato is half Allo.. but sucho is 1 ½ allos. I'm more scared of decent sucho than trash trike and rex kos squad
Yeah sucho is really good right now, imo dasp overall build-creativity wise is better than allo but stat wise allo is a lot better, a good allo vs a bonebreak dasp is pretty much gg ez for the dasp if it doesn’t play perfect lol

If you mean the mixpack fight (my wifis bad as Im commenting this lol) then no its not a rulebreak as mixpacking to an extent is allowed on this server, like different diets can group and only in group limits, you cant have huge armies tho
Allo never got any buffs and all thats new was Fresh Blood and Hatchet Bite which, hatchet bite is really bad. Its last stat change was a nerf. It gets destroyed by most things now
I wouldn’t say it gets destroyed, it has better stats than dasp and destroys one of it doesnt play super well, and same goes for almost anything smaller. I think it just needs a tlc update and more unique abilities, but other than that balance-wise its fine, the only thing that actually “destroys” it that really shouldn’t is maybe cerato and sucho because theyre kinda busted right now. But allo can still kill things like alberta, sty, dasp, stego, etc. etc. pretty easily if played right.
Imo i think allo has 2 main issues: 1, no unique abilities(that's prolly gonna change soon to all the people spamming "bUfF aLLo" under every vid regarding pot) and 2, being a sub-apex, meaning that it has most of the disadvantages of apexes (mid turning, slow attacks, mid stam drain and regen, and being a larger target in general) without the advantages. (high damage, high cw high hp) Also, I REALLY hope they fix its hitbox because hitting lil creatures like megs is not fun. Dasps (if they are running bonebreak) are literally free eats for a decent allo as long as you avoid the BB. Nice two kills on them

Theres passive growth, its pretty slow though which is fine with me, allo takes around 3 hours without quests to grow, apexes take about 5, tier 2s like conca and alio around 2 hours, small things about 1 hour.
In my opinion, the growth you get from quests is pretty bad on LFAW, marks too. However, generally the passive growth times are pretty fair, and the quest rewards could be worse.
I think its ok, it shouldn’t be insane, its good enough though where its both possible to grow and rewarding enough so you can upgrade your creature as youre growing.
I suck so bad at this game n avoid conflict cuz I lack skill,, I wanna get better especially on allo since it my favorite Dino n the reason I picked up the game but growing is also hard when u get picked on every few mins ;0;,, this vid gives me hope that someday I’ll be good at playing allo
Yeah especially on no rules servers its hard to grow even if youre the most experienced player, I hope this helped you! I would just suggest finding a creature you like and getting used to the buttons and movement, etc., then get used to that creature if you still like it, and go from there whichever order you want based on what creatures seem cool, I myself started with metri and its a very good all-rounder, or at least was, for beginners I would say alio, conca, and cerato are good dinos, meg is also good, allo though is one of the higher skill-cap creatures so its probably one of the hardest to get really good with especially if you’re new, so I would suggest one of the things I listed before, before you try taking on allo’s playstyle if you haven’t already.
with more "training" comes the skill :) don't let yourself get demotivated and if you get killed by groups it has little to do with your own lack of skill :)
Allo is currently the number 1 dinosaur whose stats make zero sense. It gets bodied by literally everything even if it’s smaller than it. It’s the biggest problem in the game right now.
I guess you didn’t watch the video because I killed a lot of things, allo is very strong it just lacks UNIQUE abilities right now. It destroys small things except cerato and achillo in a 1v1 though and if a dasp doesn’t play perfectly can get destroyed by one too.
Asia server i dnt see any Allo this days :( ... I once got clap by Stego i thought i can easily kill him 😂 that was when i first made my Allo Adult 😅 anyway like your videos ...let me try using Allo 😎

Aaand how exactly does this prove its not weak? Died immediately..almost lost to two metri who couldn’t even heal due to the bleed.. didn’t even finish with the sarco lol, super poor stamina management all around. One meg got you to half health… as an allo main this is nowhere close to its full potential
I died to a PACK at the beginning, and yes I managed my stamina poorly, Im not perfect, but I still came up winning in most fights, and how do you expect me to finish a sarco thats in the water? I was smart enough to not keep fighting as I was already at half lol. And metris are pretty strong regardless, and like you said there were 2. Two metris can kill a lot of things, doesn’t prove allo isnt strong. I agree I played really bad in that first meg fight, but most of the others I would say either prove my point pretty well or at least DONT agree with the “allo is weak” argument.
Well, I know for certain you're definitely not on Isla Nycta with that Nycta. Oddly enough, on its server of origin, no one plays it because it's so incredibly weak. Like, it just gets bodied. It's a walking meal. I have no idea why they won't buff it.
In my opinion it's fine, it's the tankiest tier 3 carnivore and destroys a bonebreak dasp unless the dasp is good. Haven't really seen any examples where allo is actually "squishy".
Why do ppl think allo is weak me and my brother took on an alb and a pycno and a pachy. (We were lucky that we had a campto on our side to one shot everything)

Yeah, and not a lot of allos are good either. I learn decently fast if I know what animals Im fighting so heres how I found to beat barrage suchos with allo: You basically have to trade facetanks after a bit. What I mean is start it off like any fight, playing agressive and putting on damage, maybe even actually facetanking, but once the sucho starts using claw barrage run away and dont get hit for about 8 seconds so it runs out of stacks. After that rinse-and-repeat. You have a higher chance at beating a sucho by just avoiding the barrage overall as its kinda busted right now 🤣
Its not that Allo is weak, its that the devs are allergic to giving it new abilities like they do with every other playable. That makes it feel underwhelming when all you can do is claw, bite and tail whip.
Suchos claws also drain stam now, at least the bleed ones (which imo neither allo or sucho should have that), I dont think the devs dont want allo to have abilities, I think its either just because theyre waiting to give it more in the future and are brainstorming right now, or theyre giving it a grapple at some point thats probably in the works, as I think I remember seeing quite a few videos especially from Vellocci about allo getting a grapple ability at some point, could be wrong though lol.
For those which think Allo is a weak Dino are compltely new or just bad player , Allo was is and will be one of THE best Dinos in the Game , its an abosoulty Monster in 1vs1 , deesent Stamina and hit like a Truck , one of my favorite Dinos to 1v1 Apexes .
True, only thing I would say is against any good apex you would need two allos, but at that point its doable, allo just needs some unique abilities imo

Its bite speed got increased to match similar to allo/suchos in the ptb so hopefully it can facetank things easier

Kentro eaisly bodies allo in my experience , every time I fight Allos they always die

I have no problem with kentro as allo, even as a dasp.
Only time I struggle on allo is on officials or servers with no rules and large mixpacks. I find it very viable in semi realism with no mix packs

Of course, groups are not meant. Solo allo have never caused any problems. Maybe at the beginning of PoT when allo felt like the biggest dinosaur 🦖

I suck so bad at this game n avoid conflict cuz I lack skill,, I wanna get better especially on allo since it my favorite Dino n the reason I picked up the game but growing is also hard when u get picked on every few mins ;0;,, this vid gives me hope that someday I’ll be good at playing allo
Yeah especially on no rules servers its hard to grow even if youre the most experienced player, I hope this helped you! I would just suggest finding a creature you like and getting used to the buttons and movement, etc., then get used to that creature if you still like it, and go from there whichever order you want based on what creatures seem cool, I myself started with metri and its a very good all-rounder, or at least was, for beginners I would say alio, conca, and cerato are good dinos, meg is also good, allo though is one of the higher skill-cap creatures so its probably one of the hardest to get really good with especially if you’re new, so I would suggest one of the things I listed before, before you try taking on allo’s playstyle if you haven’t already.
with more "training" comes the skill :) don't let yourself get demotivated and if you get killed by groups it has little to do with your own lack of skill :)
Allo is currently the number 1 dinosaur whose stats make zero sense. It gets bodied by literally everything even if it’s smaller than it. It’s the biggest problem in the game right now.
I guess you didn’t watch the video because I killed a lot of things, allo is very strong it just lacks UNIQUE abilities right now. It destroys small things except cerato and achillo in a 1v1 though and if a dasp doesn’t play perfectly can get destroyed by one too.

Thanks! Allo is fun and strong but in order to use it well it takes quite a bit of practice as its kinda clunky right now, it can kill a stego though if its good enough

Aaand how exactly does this prove its not weak? Died immediately..almost lost to two metri who couldn’t even heal due to the bleed.. didn’t even finish with the sarco lol, super poor stamina management all around. One meg got you to half health… as an allo main this is nowhere close to its full potential

I died to a PACK at the beginning, and yes I managed my stamina poorly, Im not perfect, but I still came up winning in most fights, and how do you expect me to finish a sarco thats in the water? I was smart enough to not keep fighting as I was already at half lol. And metris are pretty strong regardless, and like you said there were 2. Two metris can kill a lot of things, doesn’t prove allo isnt strong. I agree I played really bad in that first meg fight, but most of the others I would say either prove my point pretty well or at least DONT agree with the “allo is weak” argument.
Well, I know for certain you're definitely not on Isla Nycta with that Nycta. Oddly enough, on its server of origin, no one plays it because it's so incredibly weak. Like, it just gets bodied. It's a walking meal. I have no idea why they won't buff it.

In my opinion it's fine, it's the tankiest tier 3 carnivore and destroys a bonebreak dasp unless the dasp is good. Haven't really seen any examples where allo is actually "squishy".
Why do ppl think allo is weak me and my brother took on an alb and a pycno and a pachy. (We were lucky that we had a campto on our side to one shot everything)

It’s different than most, allows mixpacking TO AN EXTENT which is annoying sometimes but its not really too bad

Depends how the allo plays and if the sucho is using claw barrage, either way though an allo CAN win but its always extremely difficult.

Yeah, and not a lot of allos are good either. I learn decently fast if I know what animals Im fighting so heres how I found to beat barrage suchos with allo:
You basically have to trade facetanks after a bit. What I mean is start it off like any fight, playing agressive and putting on damage, maybe even actually facetanking, but once the sucho starts using claw barrage run away and dont get hit for about 8 seconds so it runs out of stacks. After that rinse-and-repeat. You have a higher chance at beating a sucho by just avoiding the barrage overall as its kinda busted right now 🤣
Its not that Allo is weak, its that the devs are allergic to giving it new abilities like they do with every other playable. That makes it feel underwhelming when all you can do is claw, bite and tail whip.
Also dumb design decisions like claw taking stam and only 1 head slot etc
Suchos claws also drain stam now, at least the bleed ones (which imo neither allo or sucho should have that), I dont think the devs dont want allo to have abilities, I think its either just because theyre waiting to give it more in the future and are brainstorming right now, or theyre giving it a grapple at some point thats probably in the works, as I think I remember seeing quite a few videos especially from Vellocci about allo getting a grapple ability at some point, could be wrong though lol.
For those which think Allo is a weak Dino are compltely new or just bad player , Allo was is and will be one of THE best Dinos in the Game , its an abosoulty Monster in 1vs1 , deesent Stamina and hit like a Truck , one of my favorite Dinos to 1v1 Apexes .
True, only thing I would say is against any good apex you would need two allos, but at that point its doable, allo just needs some unique abilities imo
True most ppl are the same way with berta since nerff cause they can't just face tank everything now and actually have to play the game
