I personally like the carno look, they could’ve made the pycno one the default though. I would prefer if they made all tail attacks do raw damage and then pycno have a normal tail attack that does the knockback like currently instead of a charged tail attack but, oh well.

Lol yeah, claw barrage is better in some cases but that’s why I prefer claw attack. Most of the barrage attacks are braindead and overpowered and honestly shouldn’t exist, but bleed especially on sucho kinda requires skill to stack and keep on the opponent, because sucho doesn’t do a whole lot but it can stack fast.

@dtbrex08 i imagine its best to hit it often? when would be a good time to attack with it? ofc, while still probably biting? also it seems great for dealing with raptors if you can hit them!

I’d say unless you can’t choose, just pick what you like the most. If you want my opinion though, I personally like the 10% increased health regeneration subspecies, long distance runner on legs, and resilient scales for the hide. But all of the subspecies are good in their own way, same with your creature’s abilities. So just pick what you like if you want!

Funny thing is I saw the adult bars before the fight as I was walking away from Broken Tooth Canyon down the coast, I thought it was chill enough because it saw me but just kept questing. Next thing you know it comes over to help the group of things I’ve been fighting after a couple of minutes 🤣 I don’t see how they needed that much to stop a PYCNO from killing a SUCHO (tier 3 vs tier 4) and they STILL didn’t kill me lol.

I don’t think that was the intent lol, would be funny if so though. If anything I think he was trying to knock me into the water but I doubt it.

@@DeinoChenus I personally always liked dasp’s model, at first I thought it’s tlc looked weird lol. Its grown on me and looks more natural though on my dasp’s skin that I always use so that’s a plus.

I know that but these were way too fast to be rex and I figured I wojld’ve seen it. Maybe it was though, if I missed it that closely though I’m gonna be so annoyed lol

@dtbrex08 in the video that the rex was captured the foot steps sound the same as your video, and you can hear rex far away before you see especially when your surrounded by trees

It sounds the same, but the ones at the beginning were very fast/rapid, and seemed almost in sync with the deino running which is why I thought it was maybe a bug or possibly a new feature for the larger creatures

@dtbrex08 i dont think it was the deino, i think it was defo rex or another large dino and the foot steps just happened to be synced up with deino

@ Maybe, but rex definitely doesn’t stomp that fast with only 2 feet. Meanwhile deino is a quadruped so it makes sense that it could be that fast but who knows. I’ll be honest I thought it was an allo at first lol but we’ll never know for sure I guess

@@Giovanni-le4fv I think both spinos in the video could’ve played better but honestly a good dasp with piercing bite and feral instincts right now can fairly easily take down spinos and ducks. I honestly kinda think pierce bite should cost a little stamina to use but who knows.

Exactly lol. I honestly wouldn’t mind if they added a stam cost to the attack because its super strong right now combined with feral instincts.

@ Yeah it can 6 shot pretty much all tier 5 with tyrant buff, it’s way overtuned right now. A stam cost and maybe a bit lower damage would do it some good. 3 dasps can bring down apas right now so it probably wasn’t tested for balance lol

Lol I mean with how the devs want the game they probably want dasp to be an apex killer and it can be hard to land at times but I do think its a little too easy right now

I’m lucky most mixpackers aren’t good otherwise I’d probably have died lol but it definitely felt good fighting them as a single dasp. That mixpack was horrendously humongous.

I don’t like to brag but I 100% agree. The fact the albino hatz couldn’t kill me during the green valley fight is super embarrassing honestly.

I think they were already adolescent actually. They only had adult sounds from what I could hear and you grow into your adult sounds after about just 1 bar into adolescent.

@@dtbrex08 the coloring gave it away that it wasnt yet adolescent on pc i have an adolescent sarco wich has more adult coloring

@ yeah you completely lose your baby colors once you get to subadult now so early/late adolescent can be very different in appearance now

No clue. I think the dasp and metri were randoms honestly. I think the meg I killed also wasn’t with the first megs I fought. I actually talked with the megs after the first fight and they were chill so I doubt it.

Its really so helpful though. I actually grew a dasp on panjura too and survived another dasp and an allo as an adolescent just by hopping down cliffs. The allo died and the dasp took a bunch of fall damage when he tried getting revenge and I started biting him when he sat down just enough to finish him 🤣 got a trophy from the allo too it was hilarious

Yeah, charged tail is really only good for run ins against apexes from my experience.

🤣 I’ve tried keeping the music for only intense fights but when almost every fight is intense… it’s a little hard to get around 💀 and I’ve used the music for so long it almost feels wrong not to add it in. Hopefully I’ll stop using it so much in the future.
