Here is a Material list for you: I tend to use a mix of Artist's quality Windsor & Newton and Michael Harding paints. The latter being my favourite choice as he makes them like the old masters did many years ago.
Please note: if you are just starting out, and price of materials are an issue, I would recommend the Windsor & Newton *Winton series... these have the same quality pigment as the Winsor & Newton Artists series but less of it, there are more fillers and extenders in them but the quality is still there at a smaller cost... just click on any link below and search for them as the cheaper option. The more expensive option below, the benefits are, they last longer as they are super rich in pigment and they are amazing to work with.

We want some acrylic portrait plz
Not done much acrylic work... so not that experienced with the medium. tbh 🙏
Pristine work, its so vibrant and fresh right from the outset. Your brushes look to be in perfect condition too, what make do you recommend and what do you use to clean them? I have tried expensive and cheap ones and they all end up in a state really quickly no matter how I clean them.
Thank you. Some of the brushes are years old. I use Daler Rowney, Pro Arte , I have a few simonart series 38 ones too. How I clean them is I take the excess paint off with White Spirits and the clean them with soap and rinse them 3 times... at the end I roll them into a point for rounds and make sure they are flat for flats. Seem to do the trick. all the very best 🙏
@@DavePortersArt thanks for your reply. I’ll give those brushes a go. I’m cleaning in pretty much the same way but i suspect I may be being a little too rough in trying to rush the cleaning process. Hope to see some more oil painting videos on your channel.
