In 2012 I stumbled across this and was amazed. 10 years later, I still am. To everyone who also saw this as a kid or even years ago while already an adult, I hope life has treated you well. And in any case, I hope revisiting this video and its comments is a nice island of nostalgic peace for you like it is for me

All this darned Automation! What about ALL OF THOSE MINIFIGURES! All those Poor, Poor Minifigures made redundant All because of automation! Just think! Put back in the dusty drawers they have to live in! Crammed in their only seeing light and fresh air when that VIP Hotshot awesome minigure is taken out and admired! Just think!
It’s been like 10-12 years since I’ve seen this. Brings back so much nostalgia. Thank god for the internet to always hold these precious memories for me and you.
I wish I had the money to buy that many lego mindstorms sets. AMAZING creation. you must be BRILLIANT to be able to plan out and build that kind of engineering. great job.
This video will make the masterbuilders upset DEFINITELY. It is weird to see LEGO building LEGO. One of the most beautiful Mindstorms creations I've ever seen. Great work.
It may not be the fastest way to build a LEGO airplane, but it sure is the most bat-**** crazy way to do it! This is absolutely incredible, I could never hope to build something like this. I can build an extremely accurate looking LEGO aircraft complete with moving control surfaces and all, but the most complex mechanism would probably just be some sliding doors. Epic job people!
wilddog73 OK, those would be even more crazy! Closest life sized working stuff I have seen done in LEGO was the guy who made this Air Power LEGO car that other then the tires was 100% LEGO. He uses something crazy like 3000 LEGO pistons and it could reach 25mph!
Somebody asked their engineer dad for help building a bunch of Lego airplanes. It took twice as long, but it's reusable. As a developer, I can relate :) ...remembers folding 1,000 cranes for my wedding...
omg. i wish there was a set like this to buy. i'd definetly buy one..! this project is just amazing.. they've done some incredible work ^^ , i was just .. stunned by what they've done with lego's =D
thats crazy! I am getting one of these packs for my birthday (not many peices that you used in this.) You have given me some great ideas for my birthday ( ; drink serving machine... i can dream.
it's awesome it's like a lego came to life and started to make a real life lego land, it's also has very professional filming, almost like a how it's made episode
After your car factory video I had an idea like this, only it would make paper planes and launch them at the end of the factory. But I just don't have the pieces or patience necesary for that. Good work!
no joke. How on earth did you do that?! It is truly incomprehensible to even describe how amazing that was. Please tell me, how long did it take you to make and code all of that?
Usually, in the actual aircraft (or other oversized products) process asembly, one finds that such a process has been designed to make the workers (or in this case, the robots) move around the workstation on which the product is made, and not, otherwise, as in an assembly line where one process overcomes the latter. Neddless to say: Amazing work ;) perhaps it would represent a greater challenge for the author of this wonder to make the robots assembly the whole aircraft without moving it XD
Absoulute brilliance is what was it those minds. A real fantastic machine and a huge acheivement. Particullary because you useing the old stlye mindstorms instead of NXT 1.0 and 2.0
All I can say is AMAZING. It has lots of cooperating components, and I don't even know how long the project took. But one question; How long does it take to reset?
tout ce systeme ,ce mechanisme ,ces roues a dents ...et j'en passe... autant de pièces lego ,des fils qui se croisent etc... pour ..... ...un avion... super good video it's a super system bravo
i would sit whole day building these airplanes.. Sir, i am very impressed. I wonder if this could be modified for mass production, or continuous operation. as soon as it picks parts for first airplane, it would already start building next! i think it would need different programming and maybe some modification. but still, this was awesome!
Incredible! Just where do you even start? Never mind the computer programming Just to build the basic static factory production line. How many components did you use? Also how do you keep dust off it? Great video thanks for sharing. :-)

It pains me to know at some point someone had to take this all apart.
+Filmbrood oh my god same here....
Yes...
To all the kids watching this again after 9 years:
I hope you all became what you wanted to be.
I didn't. But thanks for the thought.
Yep
Actually... No xd
+++++ fucking +++
I watched this as a middle schooler wanting to become an engineer. Now I'm in grad school.
now build a factory that builds aircraft factories.
+joe kickass XD

Same, it's still just as incredible as when I first watched this when I was a kid. I can't believe that this was actually built lol
This is simultaneously one of the most useless and amazing things ever built :D
Perhaps the most amazing thing I've ever seen in my whole life, ever.
it's been 9 years and it's still some of the most kickass stuff on youtube
All its missing is a catapult to launch the plane at the end
lol corrent
If car factory was one man's masterpiece, then this is an industry standart =D
Absolutely brilliant.
This is some of the most complex, detailed designing that I have ever seen, but DAYMN!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
This was my favorite video when i was 7
I wish I had the money to buy that many lego mindstorms sets. AMAZING creation. you must be BRILLIANT to be able to plan out and build that kind of engineering. great job.
Speaking as a mechanical engineer, I realy understand how much work must have gone into that. Bravo!
This video will make the masterbuilders upset DEFINITELY. It is weird to see LEGO building LEGO.
One of the most beautiful Mindstorms creations I've ever seen. Great work.
ROFL, love the little display stage at the end. Who says they can't gloat a little? They have the right to after a display like that. Bravo!
Just imagine... you just push the buttons and IT makes the planes... Wish i had that one at home. Absolute FAV!!
This has got to be the coolest thing I've ever seen. The best robot I ever made picked up pop cans and put them in my trash and it wasn't autonomous.
10 minutes of my life enriched by the awesomeness of this video.
if there were 6 stars to give, I would still be wanting a 7th!!
This is by FAR the most awesome LEGO thing I've ever seen!!!!
OMG!!
It may not be the fastest way to build a LEGO airplane, but it sure is the most bat-**** crazy way to do it! This is absolutely incredible, I could never hope to build something like this. this is definantally the best RCX creation i have ever seen
You truly are GODS!
This is the most amazing lego build i've ever seen.
this is one of the coolest lego inventions I have ever seen.
That is too awesome to describe.I've imagined things like that before, but I didn't think it was actually possible!
i love the "show room" part at the end!
This was really the best Lego thing I've ever Seend.
Great!!!
Wow, that is just sick. It's insane. I loved the ending. If I had the time and money, and knowledge. I would have tried that to.
Wow, that has a lot A LOT of engineering behind that. Amazing job!
All of that to make that tiny little plane?!
It`s still very cool! Your a Genius!
The best lego fabrik they i have see in my live !!! Woow nobel-price for the best lego fabrik
I have watched this video about a million times...and I still love it :D
THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO I EVER SAW CLASSIC LEGO PROJECT!!!!!
whatever this is the most amazing thing ive ever seen better than a flying car i saw on a show!
thats the most amazing lego creation ive ever seen and ive seen really cool stuff
That is the coolest Lego creation I ve ever seen!
Somebody asked their engineer dad for help building a bunch of Lego airplanes.
It took twice as long, but it's reusable. As a developer, I can relate :)
...remembers folding 1,000 cranes for my wedding...
this is pure freaking genius! it must have taken months of trial and error.
omg. i wish there was a set like this to buy. i'd definetly buy one..!
this project is just amazing.. they've done some incredible work ^^ , i was just .. stunned by what they've done with lego's =D
holy crap. this is the most awesome thing i have ever seen in my live.
Totally awesome !! A master Mindstorms creation for sure.
thats crazy! I am getting one of these packs for my birthday (not many peices that you used in this.) You have given me some great ideas for my birthday ( ; drink serving machine... i can dream.
no words for this, dude u must be the lego king!!!
Just amazing. I saw their car factory, but this is even more complex.
it's awesome it's like a lego came to life and started to make a real life lego land, it's also has very professional filming, almost like a how it's made episode
this is awesome
Imagine how much lego money you would make!
Hehe, where I come from that's a compliment :-) If only more people were this creative.
easily the coolest lego model i have ever seen
I'm amazed, and really jealous.
cok guzel
woow this looks great
5 stars this one looks even nicer than the car factory
beautiful showroom at the end!! with spot lights and mirrored floor :D
After your car factory video I had an idea like this, only it would make paper planes and launch them at the end of the factory. But I just don't have the pieces or patience necesary for that. Good work!
That is the most epic lego invention i've ever seen.
this is officioly the best lego creation EVER
This is THE MOST INCREDIBLE lego building I ever saw!!!!!! Fcking Amazing 100000/5
the best thing i have seen not so far it IS the best ever mindstorms ever and I love it
no joke. How on earth did you do that?! It is truly incomprehensible to even describe how amazing that was. Please tell me, how long did it take you to make and code all of that?
3 months.... Good job, you must have worked pretty much.. Its fantastic!
The first video i have watched from youtube
I loved the spinning gold plate at the end! :-)
Usually, in the actual aircraft (or other oversized products) process asembly, one finds that such a process has been designed to make the workers (or in this case, the robots) move around the workstation on which the product is made, and not, otherwise, as in an assembly line where one process overcomes the latter. what was your inspiration?
most amazing thing iv'e seen on youtube in a looooooooong time
WOW!!!!! i bet when it finally all worked it would hve been magical
Yo the machine is sick and i like how the plane turned out
I bet this took OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!! Hours love it tho
+Kyle Peng Stale memes
stale memes are good memes
It took 2k.
Read the description.
Absoulute brilliance is what was it those minds. A real fantastic machine and a huge acheivement. Particullary because you useing the old stlye mindstorms instead of NXT 1.0 and 2.0
I like your aircraft assembly line :-)
That was so freakin AMAZING!!! How many pieces did you use?
Hol-ee-crap.
You, sir, are a freaking GENIUS.
YOU ARE THE SECOND BEST MINSTORMS BUILDER OR THE BEST!
I especially like the finishing operation!
All I can say is AMAZING. It has lots of cooperating components, and I don't even know how long the project took. But one question; How long does it take to reset?
very impressive work for a little aircraft, thats genius wish i could do that someday
OMG,This is better than better!?!?!?!?!!!!!It makes planes =DWhy isnt this more popular!?! 10000/10 5/5
That is one impressive and well thought out construction. How many planes can it churn out in an hour? 6?
Holy crap dude! That must havw been WEEKS if programming... Totally awsome dude
:O Best lego creation i have ever seen. I wish i had the money to make the same:P.
Unbelievable cool! People that say Lego is just for kids are soooo wrong and this is the proof :D
That's absolutely insanely amazing
holy bananas! that is the most brilliant thing ever! 5/5 of course
That is incredible, well done!
hello, I'm from Brazil.
very very good your lego!!!!
congratulations
great, unbelievable, amazing
but one question:
does this machine exist yet and if, where is it?
It must have taken forever to program and get it to work. Great job.
Overly complex, but outstanding!! Beutiful!!!
Legos that build themselves, huh? Is that what the world has come to?
Great job guys
Awesome! i love the little showroom at the end, but does it produce more then one aircraft at a time?
This has to be the coolest video on youtube ever.
:D
when i got mi line follower ready i was like WOW but... That is just so exellent!
Wow! I love the factory you made! How much time did it take you to make the factory? How much money did you used to make it?
It is incredible!
The wiring though...
wow how long did this take to make? and you are my hero!and have you ever just let it run and make tons of planes?
tout ce systeme ,ce mechanisme ,ces roues a dents ...et j'en passe... autant de pièces lego ,des fils qui se croisent etc... pour .....
...un avion... super
good video it's a super system
bravo
thats gotta be the coolest thing iv ever seen.
make a video series that shows the entire process of plane building with insanly cool factory!
OH MY GOD! x'D This is sick dude! :) You got too much sparetime x'D I especially love 9:30-10:00 :) Nice Outtro

This is the best video ever!!! I have one question, can it do several aeroplanes at a time? Please answer knusel111
