Looks like you lucked out. Do all deferred maintenance first. Oil/filter, air and cabin filters, flushing all fluids, etc Something your mechanic didn’t mention but I’d recommend replacing are fuel injectors and water pump. 2 items that are known to cause problems on the 996. IMO the IMS bearing can wait until you’re ready to replace the clutch.

What engine does it have? If it's the 3.4 you don't need to do the ims, only on the 3.6 it's a weak point.
