I try in my ford focus 2017 and imobilizer came on asking me for 10 digit PIN code and did not let me make the key

If you just got to hot function add key guided it will read the pin you need to have the key in the key holder should be in the arm rest on your year.

Sorry no all Ford keys are re useable and don’t need to
Be unlocked but other than them older style Ford smart keys Aftermarket ones are pretty cheap.

Yes it does I done a Toyota key a few days ago. I couldn’t see the reason why they would.

You need to go to the option where it says read pass code. But you don’t need to do that you can go straight to add key it will read all the security access.
