Hi Joseph! Yes, I agree with you! 💯 I think it's recommended for it to be replaced roughly every 3 years, because it can gather moisture, and moisture cannot be compressed like brake fluid can.
Hi Fahed - never seen the brake fluid tester before. Nice piece of kit. Have a feeling it's going to make its way onto 'my list'... ;-) Had the megaflush done on my L322 4.4 tdv8 last week. What a difference! Also had the diff and transfer box oils changed at the same time. The place I used is a transmission specialist and they told me the condition of the oil in the front diff was quite bad. The oil in the rear appeared to have been replaced not too long ago though. As the car has just gone through 130k it was all timely and £720 well spent. Now feel confident to put it through its paces off road so been having a little fun with the terrain settings and hi/lo ratios :-)))))
Hi Shane, well done! Sounds like it was money well spent indeed, and it means it was a job well done if you can sense a positive difference! Amazing! It's so much fun going off roading and looking at the off-road info on the screen! Have a great time! 👍🏻 I haven't done a megaflush to my car, but it's on my "to do" list, and if I do it, I'll make sure to document it and make a video about it! 😊
Hahaha 😁 I'd recommend watching the oil leak playlist where I tackled the engine gasket & manifold a year ago! th-cam.com/play/PLrcJFwySU4nQ0-9IEqEQlnhKhtN9C3Z73.html&si=B3-ipxJELO1XZzev If that doesn't put you off, then buy it! 😁 I have found them to be easy DIY cars. 👍🏻
