thanks for the sharing. If I would be using the speaker alongside my laptop most of the time, do I not need the usb dongle? as the version without dongle comes in a more friendly pricing. What would you suggest?
If you were going to use it just next to your laptop all the time then I’d say get the one without the USB dongle. The USB dongle just gives you that added flexibility of walking around the house with your speaker and walking away from your laptop, without missing out on a conversation on Microsoft teams or Zoom. Let me give you an example, I’ve got the USB dongle version, if in the middle of a meeting I get thirsty and wanted to get a drink from the fridge..I can put myself on mute and take the speaker with me and still listen to the conversations of the meeting taking place on Microsoft teams. If I wanted to join in whilst looking in my fridge I can unmute my speaker and give my thoughts in the meeting as i’m walking back to my laptop. For me I cannot live without the flexibility that the USB dongle gives you.

the microphone does not work?..not shown on video?
If you skip to 0:55 seconds that is where I show you can turn the microphone on and off. This will mute you, so the other person can’t hear you. When you do mute your microphone you get red lights around the speaker to show the microphone is muted.
It was very quick though and you could have missed it.
