For black hair it's better to use grey then use black to blend
Me too! But I used a dark grey and then shaded with the black when you had to use darker tones.

Here’s a tip if ur shading black hair use white strips then blend it
Dont use black as your base color. Use a dark grey one instead. Then you can use black for shading and light grey for highlights

Just a tip: you don’t have to follow the tutorial *completely* you can always explore different ways to shade the hair, that can also help you find your artstyle!

Find some reference in Devian Art, Pinterest, or Instagram, or any site/app. But I use pinterest and it helps me a lot.

Fun Fact: For the blending tecnique, you can always use the 'blur' to blend/blur your drawing. Thank me later💖✏️

You guys don’t have too u can import a picture on ibis paint so go to safari type in “anime hair” and add the one u like to ur photos and import it on ibis paint and follow the steps.

Ok so, I’ve been scrolling through TH-cam looking for a hair tutorial, and then I found this. Not only did it help, but it also gave me another idea of what to do besides what I’ve been doing. It doesn’t look to alike to what the video said, but it’s amazing improvement. This video I understood a lot, and I thank you, considering I’m a beginner.❤️
