Color Pulse from Splatoon 2 (Jazz/RnB Cover)

I have yet again returned. I haven’t been able to make as many covers during the summer as I would’ve liked for various reasons, but I’m happy with what I have gotten out. Last week I was listening to and playing along with the Splatoon 2 OST, and when this track started playing, I experienced full bliss. The combination of really good music and the memories of the hype for Splatoon 2 when we were first introduced to this track hit me hard, and I knew I had to cover it. I was a bit iffy about tackling Pearl’s rap parts, but I think they ended up sounding nice. I essentially just wrote out melodies that matched the rhythm of the rap. This is also my first cover using Logic Pro! I recently upgraded from GarageBand and it’s been so worth it. I did run into some audio issues trying to upload this, but the screen recording worked fine, so you guys get to see all my tracks and stuff :)
