The older chestnut is a good horse to take Bella out with, very quiet and sensible.

With Bella, we see much more of the british countryside. Lovely. Thank you.
Loved this ride! And I feel right at home seeing the western saddle. 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Bella says, I'll have a chai latte please!with a stud muffin.
Bella is very well behaved and standing still for you to remount xx
👍🐴
Bella goes from strength to strength
Bella's doing very well👍 Pretty Abbey❣Pretty countryside❣
Judging by that brief interaction between Bella and her hacking horse companion, she's not too keen on him lol 🤣🏇💨🏇💨
Very nice that you could stop for some refreshments along the way.
A lovely stop for refreshments for you and Bill. Bella was thinking where’s my treat ? What’s Bills horse called he’s a gentle mount 🐎🐎🐎
That was fun stopping off for a drink and sausage roll I could just eat one of those Tara lol. Tfs🏇
Bella looks quite happy at the cafe. I think you and Bella will have some happy times ahead 🍀🐎
Hi I'm from Yorkshire Came to N Z with husband and family in 1972 . Horse lover, had my first horse when a Gran looked after her until she was 39 & sadly put down March last year & still missing her xx buried in our own paddock. Was privileged to have her with us so long.
Loved seeing recent vid fabulous place to stop for awhile! Best wishes.
Rievaulx!!! Thos place is on my bucket list. I had done a pen and ink drawing of the abbey a few years ago and emailed it to them. They wanted me to bring it along when I come. I doubt they'll remember it, but I would like to visit the place that drew. Bella was a very good girl there with all the cars about. You found a nice mounting block as well. The other horse, (a Quarter horse?), is a very good companion for Bella, showing her that getting excited about puzzling things doesn't help the situation. What fun!
Very nice place you stopped to get something and rested. ❤
What a nice place to stop and get something to drink!
The chestnut with blonde mane and tail, is so much like the horse I was privileged to own many years ago. I would love to try western riding…
Very lovely ride! It was so nice you got to stop and have a snack! Bella is doing so well! Bella to Bill’s horse, don’t flirt with me Apollo wouldn’t like it!🐴❤️❤️
🤣

Awww Bella really likes that chestnut horse 🐴 and I'm glad that she has a confident friend to show her the way ❣ So nice that Mummy was able to do a refreshment stop ☕ and shared the nibbles 😘
Good job Bella!! You handled it great with that car so close. Good girl! ❤️🐴❣️
Here we have a nice look at the other horse's gear. 🤠2:10 Love the silver on his bridle. Sorry, I don't remember his name. That's a nice shop to stop. At. 😁
That was a nice break for you both. Have the horses a little breather also.
Bella just can't help but to try to bite!
The other horse didn't pay any mind to her thank God. He watched for his dad.
Still a nice break though.
Awesome and well done there ya'll 😅 great job 👍🏻 and not too bad there 😮
Thank you 😁
@@Tara101 ya'll welcome
Bella riding nicely on the trails she have a good handle riding Bella is a clever girl
I think so too!
Really enjoyed the stop! Actually a very convenient mounting block👍🏻😃🍀! Pretty bridge and pretty view of water! Bella’s a good girl💛!
👍
❤️🐴❤️
Looking good out there. Keep up the amazing work and videos 😀 be careful out there 😊
Thanks 👍
Looks like your companion is taking you on a good old hike. Not perhaps something you would want to do on your own. I heard you day that the horsebox was due in?? I assume a service. Did you get back in time? If you stopped for a drink and nibbles you must have gone a long way. 😊
What are you eating mom?
I bet Bella would love to go
into the cafe with you🙂
I think she’d want to sample everyone’s purchases….😳😉😂

Bella does love her snacks😀
What a nice little shop, wish there was a good mounting block but since that wall worked for you all is good and on we go...
Been meaning to ask what's that pink on Bill's horse's right rear?
The Western saddle is very deep compared to English. What lovely countryside and scenic Abbey snack stop. It's been such an enjoyable ride. When you said you thought the ride home wld be quicker, after the video finished I imagined you and Bella galloping all the way home!! ❤❤
Riding a western saddle, I can still get on and go with no hand up or mount assist. I have no English or side saddle experiences. Things have changed in my late 60' and I believe use it or lose it applies to us women for sure. That said, as a tiny young girl I often rode with no tack
Nice ride. Bills horse is very relaxed. The western style tack is interesting isn't it. Personally I find it looks very cumbersome. So much weight in the blankets, horn, strapping etc. I know it's comfortable.....I've ridden western a couple of times, but still always looks too much for the horse.
I grew up riding western, bareback and have ridden english once. The english was fun. I always say when you ride western, you ride IN the saddle, and when you ride english, you ride ON the saddle. Need to remember, cowboys who rode western (and many still do) spend HOURS riding in their saddles moving and working livestock. They are not just taking a leisurely pleasure ride.
I havent ridden western but thats exactly how the saddles appear too. In Australia we have stock saddles, possibly between the two. And stock horses.
I have ridden Western and ridden in Stock saddles. My first saddle, was called a Syd Hill Barcoo Poley saddle. Traded that in, for a much lighter Wintec Western saddle. The stock saddle was very heavy, and didn't fit my horses withers / back very well. And like Bella, the stock saddle could shift position. But it looked great, felt comfy, and was a quality leather stock saddle. They sold it very quickly, in the horse saddlery shop I traded it in at. As they are not easy to come across. Plus it was in, very good condition.
Bella, no need to nip that lad by way of saying you have a big brother who would give him a boot if he tried to ask you out! 🙄😂😉💖
Hey, Jamie 🙂 👋
Hope you are well, and are doing alright 😘😘
@@melindaharrington7588 Hi Melinda, likewise! 😊
Lovely! As a new watcher, which breed is the gentleman's horse? Seems like such a calm horse.
American Quarter horse
Curious...what was the deciding factor to let Farouk move on to another herd?
I don't know much about Western tack but the bit looks quite low, is that correct or just how it appears to look?
I don't know about Western bits
Oh where has that wonderful dun coat gone? Cant say I like her clipped may be if she was clipped out completely she wouldnt look so bad. I am sorry to leave this negative comment but DUN is such a wonderful colour its a shame to spoil it.
Bellas has a new friend. The abbey is lovely you near helmsley tara .🦄🐴🩷🥕
