I raised 8 children (my own) and have 11 grandbabies. I've always been inspired by Mary Poppins and I've wanted a carpet bag... Probably for the last 30 years! Now that I'm 52 I travel by train visiting my grand "biscuits" and doubly want one! I look online but we'll you know, Price and or condition especially for originals. You are a very special and very talented person and I just wanted to congratulate you on your talents! Thank you!
I recently purchased the 1964 Mary Poppins parrot handled umbrella from Bravocaliart and am so happy with what I got! It looks exactly like the movie prop.
Well done! Hats off to you for your perseverance in seeing this project through to completion! The lessons learned making the bag will make your next project that much easier. You may someday find yourself doing this project again in the future because you can do it better the second time. I am getting ready to create a generic carpetbag myself just so we will have one available to us in the prop closet. Your excellent video will be very helpful in that effort. Thanks for taking the time to put out this video!
Joshua you are amazing! I enjoyed this so so much! I have wanted Mary’s carpet bag my whole life! And I’m 61! I was 4 years old when the Disney Movie came out and I was obsessed! I was laying here tonight thinking I want Mary’s carpet bag Dammit! So I started to search around on the internet. ... found some, cool bags, but then as I always do, I began to wonder of I can make one...which led me straight to you! I now know I can not make one! But it was wonderful watching you doing it! You are a talented tenacious Lovely boy and I am your newest fan! Thank you for being exactly who you are! ♥️
Oh my god, your are so talented !! Your project is absolutly amazing and I'm obsessed by Mary too ! This is the best video I ever seen, your bag is unbelivable ! Bravo !!!
Just a tip...look for a 1960's Singer sewing machine. Since they are all metal they are heavy duty 100 times more so than the current "heavy duty" machine. The bag looks incredible.
Hi Josh. My name is Shane and I’m also into art. I’m currently going to be making a replica of the Phantom chandelier. I would love for us to be friends. If u have Snapchat, we could chat more. Would love to get opinions from u on different crafts

I want to see the robin project. Also how did you get Mary Poppins hat?
That’s a very funny bag you’ve got there. It’s carpet. You mean to carry carpets in? No, made out of.
Would you be willing to share the dimensions of the pattern?
