Most people played Arthur with high honor in RDR2. His character was hard to do bad things with, because he was so sincere. Almost everyone I knew, got the good ending first time through
Yeah. No joke, I got the good ending on my first playthrough without using any guides. It was around the time I just straight up didn't have internet and played offline games on my ps4.
When I played Mass Effect 2 on my first play through, I saw the best ending where everyone survived the suicide mission. I made sure I did every loyalty mission and upgraded the Normandy before I went on the suicide mission.
Uncle Taro's mission in life is to make us all as crazy as he is. And the smarter you are, the more his games mess with your head. Especially in N:A when 2B hands her katana to A2 because it contains her memory (it's the only weapon that all of the players always had all the time) and she wanted A2 to kill her permanently so she could stop being forced by The Player to kill 9S over and over again. Now you know that, think about the clenched fist after 2B and 9S give each other the Glory to Mankind salute. She's not mad that he didn't get to upload his memory from the mission. She's mad at YOU because she knows you're going to make her love 9S again and make her kill 9S again, and 9S just saluted you.
The Mass Effect 2 entry left out an important bit: the crew's "survival clock" only starts once they're taken by the Collectors. So you can do almost every side quest and loyalty mission before they're taken. Because of the way I play most RPGs, that's exactly what happened in my first playthrough, so I had every squad mate and crew member survive.
Right? 😀 He's a wonderful man, and such empaths must be protected-especially from narcissitic parasites (who pretend to be human and are often compulsive lairs)! Always prioritize the well-being of empaths (especially intelligent ones, like Jules)! And remember: 'To be a good-person doesn't mean being a defenceless, harmfulness victim. After all... Since when were Angels harmless? (they've kicked a lot of ass, both in heaven and on earth-literally)!' Narcissits weaponise people's morality into paralysing them. Do not allow them to do that! Everyone has their personal power. It's up to you to develop it, and add it to the greater good; so that we can better eradicate the narcissit-pandemic!
I always enjoy your content Jules. Thank you sir. How about 10 games you got so caught up in side quests and/or mini games that you totally lost track of the main quest.
Jules your comments at the end of the videos mean alot to me not going through a good point in my life but little comments like that keep me going u r a legend my man
I didn't quite understand the way to get it: So, you finish the game, the game asks you to delete your save file . . . but you start the game from scratch to get Ending E? Or how?
@@heavymetalmixer91 so essentially the game deletes your ability to “see” the saved complete game. It’s still there, and the game knows you completed the game. And yes you start from the beginning again essentially on “new game +”. This wasn’t the way in the original Nier and Nier Automata. The game will literally delete your save file. It will splash in a different title screen though afterwards.
@@heavymetalmixer91 It's your _sanity_ you should be worried about. I can't speak for Automata, but if it's anything like Replicant you're in constant re-tredding with practically no changes, reading, and the worst story in the history of stories.
I feel like there aren't enough for a full list... But I'd like to hear any you have in mind. There are plenty of games where your choice of species and/or gender influence the game, but I'd like to see a game where you can be asked about a scar or broken nose or something.
So, I did get the Dragon's Homecoming ending on my first playthrough. Along with all of the other non-Shura endings. I took a horrifically long time and got everything and then saved after killing the final boss, which you can totally do. Saved me a bunch of playthroughs.
10 items locked behind the most ridiculous side quests perfect example is the gold statue in dragons dogma its tied to the escort mission of Symone and its just pure stress fuel. Jules your a legend my dood tuesdays are always a blast for my wife and I stay safe and keep being awsome

None of My squad died on my first playtrough of ME2 you don't have to be a speed runner you just have to play everything before going for the IFF mission. If you listen to your squad you are encouraged to wait that mission out until you get your squad complete and ready.
It's not just the main squad that can die. Your shipmates that get captured near the end are on a timer once they get abducted. So you can have all of your squad live while having the rest of the crew (Dr. Chakwas, Kelly, those two engineers, etc) die.
@@whocares9033 they only die if you do any mission after the collectors invade thats why you leave the IFF mission after doing everything most of the squad give hints about this.
Code Vein's Good/True Ending "Dweller in the Dark" is one that I can't see many people achieving on their first playthrough. It involves tracking down and restoring each and every Vestige for their respective Successors and interacting with their petrified bodies after walking through their memories... Which the game Never tells you is something you have to do. So someone who is doing a blind playthrough without prior knowledge of the Ending criteria is almost guaranteed to get the "Heirs" Ending, which is the game's worst and most depressing ending.
For the record, Jules, I did get the perfect ending in ME2 on my first playthrough. Also, no mention of Valkyrie Profile? If you didn't know what you were doing (or didn't have precognition) there was no way you would have gotten the True Ending (A-Ending) on your first playthrough.
The trick with Mass Effect 2 is not to be some sort of speed-runner, but rather to know (or be lucky with) which missions progress the main plot or function as those ticking timers. As long as you avoid those (at least until the game forces you into them), you can do whatever you need to do and take your time preparing.
there's a scene in Psychonauts that you could only achieve by getting all the collectables by the end of the game. it was pretty neat when i saw Linda the Lungfish chatting with one of the camper's pet turtle
I got the high honour ending my first playthrough, And i got michah with the knife and cut out his eye and for the first 6 months i didnt meet another person that had it play out like that. Thats still special to me in gaming, i appreciate slight variations for actions and loadouts
I got the best ending in ME2 first try. I played multiple BioWare games before this like ME1, KOTOR 1 and 2, and Jade Empire. I did all the loyalty missions, bought all the upgrades for my ship, and by the time it came to go get my people back, I was fully prepared so I went straight there. Plus choosing the correct crewmate for each section(soldier, tech, biotic) was easy since I knew everyone inside and out.
Not me having high honour in RDR2, SOBBING through that ending and then finding out there were 3 different ways that could have gone after the fact. I was broken for days afterwards and still don't know that I could playthrough it again. It hurt but it was perfect.
For Mass Effect 2, you need to basically do every mission before the Reaper corpse mission. If you do that, immediate to the Collectors, and don't have people who aren't skilled for certain tasks do those tasks!
I just beat Sekiro yesterday for the first time, with the Purification ending, and am so glad I am not pathologically compelled to 100% complete games. This took over eight months to beat. As far as I'm concerned, that's how it ends. Incredibly satisfying, top 10 games I've ever played, but I will NEVER play it again
8 games that stuck you in an endless loop battle until you made the correct choice. Like running away, being defeated / overwhelmed by the enemy, or even giving an item. Enjoy the videos, the inspirational outro speech, and that shiny head of yours.
Wasteland 3's November Reigns ending. All the major players live and you get to end the game without a huge boss battle, while also allowing for Team November and the rest of the Rangers to essentially take over Colorado. But the means to get there are complicated in that you HAVE to make certain choices vs playing as you would play, because keeping certain people happy/in power keeps things running smoothly. ME2 is actually fairly easy to get as the game is very obvious about the Reaper IFF being the endgame starter. About the only worrying part is getting Legion's loyalty done, which the game allows for. The rest is just outfitting the Normandy and making the right choices through the final mission itself. I know it would have been a monumental undertaking, but I think being able to play as Kaine the whole game would have been a lot of fun.
Managed the first one (Mass Effect 2) the first time through sheer luck. Didn't even realise how bad the consequences could be until I spoke to a friend about it! Best last level of all time, IMHO.
I got the best ending in Mass Effect 2 because I’m one of those gamers who needs to make sure that I do everything I can do before advancing the story at all. By the time I had to race to the Collector’s Base I was already ready to do so right after Legion’s loyalty mission. Also knew the ins-and-outs of my crew so I knew who would be best for what job.
I got the good ending in my only play through of rdr2. Guess I got lucky. Just didn't really care for going on murdering rampages cause I didn't want to get a bounty.
I actually got the ME2 everyone lives ending. Of course, I also compulsively completed the loyalty missions the moment they became available so they were already done by the time the crew was kidnapped.
Was thinking more literal but it’s been a long time since I played a sports game. The experiences that inspired it basically involved dying in a mission then the auto save reloads and then most to all of the enemies fail to load in. So unless you had multiple save files going or that wasn’t an option you had to do it all over again and hope not to repeat it. Plus one of them was before downloadable patches fixing such glitches were a thing.
Somehow I must be in that rare fraction that got a perfect on my first ME2 playthrough. It was my 3rd or 4th playthrough where I actually didn't save the entire crew and 6th on squadmates.
Mass Effect 2: I saw the best ending my first play through. I took my time and didn't get the Reaper IFF until after I had completed all of the loyalty missions. Then I did Legion's loyalty mission and went through the relay, no problem. Sent Legion for the tech, Garrus leading the fire team. Then I took Jack as the biotic through the seeker swarm and Garrus in charge of the fire team again. Sent Mordin back with the crew, and destroyed the Collector Base. You can literally take your time before you go for the Reaper IFF. After you get it you can do exactly 2 missions before going through the Omega 4 Relay and save everyone in your crew.
yeah i got the ME2 ending the first go rouund. Im super harcore into that game, so I made sure I handled everything and everyone before i went in. all upgrades and missions done. even knocked out all the regular game content/side missions before hand as well
Also not to brag, but in my first playground of Mass Effect 2, everyone did survive. But that’s because I’m so big on making sure my crew knows me, I know them, and will definitely make sure they are LIVING!!
So, is the 'promise' ending happier than the 2nd ending when Mio looks in the abyss. Cuz I'm getting confused with how he's talking about everybody lives when I definitely got an ending where that happens on the ps2
In Mass Effect 2, the game is only time sensitive after you finished the "Derelict Reaper" Mission. Meaning after doing the "Collector Ship" mission, you can do all sub-missions, loyalty missions, and DLC's before going to the Derelict Reaper mission, and no one dies. Granted, you have to do 5 missions before the game forces you to do the "Collector Ship" mission. Updated: And your forced to do the "Horizon" mission after recruiting all available non-DLC recruiters.
To quote Jules, Asura's Wrath is "basically what would happen if you stuffed every anime villain alongside Mastodon's seminal blood mountain record into a blender and then hit FRAPPE."
Dragon's Homecoming was my first ending in Sekiro. I liked the game so much I went out of my way to find every area and boss to fight, now, I'm not saying I did so without seeing a guide on how to get the ending, because I'm not that much of a masochist. But it was absolutely my first ending, Perfect Isshin was the best fight ever.
Am I the only one who had everyone survive the Suicide Mission blind on the first try? Including saving Kelly. I keep seeing how people say you couldn't without guides.
Here's the second game that has an ending you will never see on a first playthrough: Dragon Marked For Death. Inti Creates underrated obscure 2D sidescroller RPG. That game went a long time without people knowing there's a 4th ending that does not screw-over the protagonist. Getting the true ending requires you to first have beaten the final boss with each of the 4 initial characters, which if you're playing it on Switch, you will need to buy the DLC to get the other 2 characters you did not pick upon purchasing it on the Eshop (yes, that's correct, on the Nintendo Switch Eshop, there's two listings of the same game, each containing half of the initial playable characters), after you've beaten the final boss, you need to view the final flashback memory at Atruum's Den with the character you want to be present in the true ending, then you must once again beat the final boss and end the quest while having equipped a weapon you got from defeating him previously, but you must beat it with those conditions without having another player assist you to beat him. Doing so will trigger the true ending, that has a happy, although cliffhanger, ending for the protagonist. If these steps seem convoluted and a fake method to get the true ending, you're in the same boat as the fanbase of this game, who also thought this was fake, but alas, it's not fake, it's the true ending's method.
I got mass effect 2 ending with everyone alive, and dragon ending of sekiro first try, but the management to do it was insane. A game that could have been on this list final fantasy x-2. Best game mechanics that have been forgotten that need to come back.
I don't know what he was talking about with mass effect 2. The 1st time that I played it, which was back in 2012, I just played our song is laid a certain way where I focused on the characters my characters and I did everything quickly after that, so I got the "perfect run" On 1st try
Mantorok ending, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Three FULL playthroughs, choosing a different god at the beginning each time. Luckily, each time you beat it, it reduces the choices. Second time playing through, the god you chose first time isn't available, and you only have the two. Third playthrough, you only have the choice of the one you have yet to choose. It's a dark one too!
One game that comes to mind .. "threads of fate" back on playstation one. The game was hard af, and confusing af at times but damn... Did the story deliver again and again every playthrough... 🍻 Wish I still had my copy of it.
Jules you absolute lej!! How about top 10 OP items (not weapons). Something like the bead necklace from Okami that gives you unlimited health, ink, and grants you 10x attack power!! Cheers from the US mate!
I did all the loyalty missions, got all the upgrades, and went straight to the crew to save them but I chose Samara to lead the team while Tali went into the vents. I figured, "she's got *centuries* of combat experience and the game seemed to back up my choice with Miranda saying it was a good idea, I must've done well right? (Cue my Shepard's girlfriend getting shot in the goddamn face.)
@@TheTaintedWisdom i chose that Thief every time because she is skilled at tight places and infiltration. Garrus was my team 2 leader because he has prior leadership experience
I got the Sekiro ending on my first playthrough but I used a guide because I had already helped my son beat it and he did the short playthrough where you side with 🦉
I got the 'die lonely on a mountaintop with a sunrise after a punishing rain' ending MY first time and, by the looks of the next comment, I'm far from alone. No Precognition (prescience) needed.
I like the RDR2, Those with High Honor broke the cycle and died in peace those with a low stat, Seen more violence. Seems pretty nailed on based on how you choose to play. I'll tell you what you get. You get what you f**king deserve!
I got the best ending my first run of mass effect 2. I don't know what you are talking about with the time restriction; I didn't exactly rush. Everyone lived at the end of 2 my first run. Though over half of them just died in 3 so it was all for not lol

Somehow I must be in that rare fraction that got a perfect on my first ME2 playthrough. It was my 3rd or 4th playthrough where I actually didn't save the entire crew and 6th on squadmates.
Yeah I definitely got that RDRD2 ending first time, I'm not a psychopath, I always do a high honor (or whatever) run first playthrough.
All hail Slime Jesus! Only you and Jazz can defeat Beelzablob! 10 revolutionary games nobody talks about anymore.
I would say Fatal Frame 2 is far more than exceptional. By far my favorite horror game.
As a completionist I did in fact save everyone in the suicide mission on Mass Effect 2. It was only afterwards did I realise that everyone could die.
Am I the only one who had everyone survive the Suicide Mission blind on the first try? Including saving Kelly.
I keep seeing how people say you couldn't without guides.
Best (Non-QTE) Video Game Chase Scenes (where you are actually playing and not a cut scene)
*My name is backwards
I've only played through RDR2 once, and I got that ending.
How about area's in Open World Game's that you are only allowed to visit Once per playthrough.
10 games that are so iconic that they might never die.
I got Homecoming ending first time in Sekiro. I feel like the Perseverance ending (I think that's what it is called) was the ending no one got first.
Slime Jesus Merch? "ARE YOU HAVIN' A GIRAFFE!?"
I actually got the red dead ending from this video without knowing it was so good, i figured it was just a standard ending
Quick question is the Nier series worth playing
I was so close on the Me2 ending. Only thing that stopped me was an upgrade I didn't get
When I first played ME2 I didn’t know your companions could die because i did all the loyalty missions
I got the Sekiro ending on my first playthrough but I used a guide because I had already helped my son beat it and he did the short playthrough where you side with 🦉
.... I got the Sekiro ending on the first playthrough. Lol, I looked it up though since I knew there'd be several to play towards.
Potata-Potahta is not fun. But you know what is fun? Deenahsty warriors! Bring it back, Jules. Bring it back.
I got the 'die lonely on a mountaintop with a sunrise after a punishing rain' ending MY first time and, by the looks of the next comment, I'm far from alone.
No Precognition (prescience) needed.
Top 10 jump scares in games that you didn't expect to have jump scares.
I like the RDR2, Those with High Honor broke the cycle and died in peace those with a low stat, Seen more violence.
Seems pretty nailed on based on how you choose to play. I'll tell you what you get. You get what you f**king deserve!
14:17 why is the woman of my dreams hiding in the corner for?
HA! Jokes on you. I got the High Honor (Real Ending) on my first (and only) RDR2 play through!
Characters that are god level when you fight against them but are wet squibs when you unlock them.
thats the ending i got in RDR2 the first and only time i played it
I got the best ending my first run of mass effect 2. I don't know what you are talking about with the time restriction; I didn't exactly rush. Everyone lived at the end of 2 my first run. Though over half of them just died in 3 so it was all for not lol
