Tiger head on Rossiya’s B747
Russian carrier Rossiya Airlines has “dressed” its Boeing 747 in a tiger head livery. It resembles similar livery owned by the now defunct Transaero.
There is a reason behind the choice of such an image. The company wanted to draw attention to the conservation of the endangered Siberian tiger. In 2015, a research revealed that there were only around 500 Siberian tigers left in the wild.
