I think what holds us back from giving into love is fear and distrust - it’s like we feel we have to constantly fight for ourselves, and we forget to fight for each other. And that begins to look a lot like fighting each other.

That's why she directed this music video herself - she wanted to make sure that she could look at the camera in a way that we can feel that all this love is towards us.
