Thanks, very clear and sorted my problem. I dropped mine from 8ft and the switch broke. You will need to solder one connection, worth considering if you need to get hold of a soldering iron as the switch is expensive.
I had a problem with tarnished contacts in the battery screwdriver. I moved the battery out a bit and the screwdriver worked. So it's not always the fault of the electronics!!!
Hi I'm just changing casing on same impact driver and was watching your video to see where the little rubber pin goes but you didn't have it covered. If you go to website of L&S engineering they have diagram of it and its number 3 but is unclear where exactly it goes and how important it is to put it back. Would appreciate if you can give me some tip. Great video by the way. And one more question about the blue cable with spring. This is earth? Thank you
30 euro on amazon I just got it today tried fix it but after watching this video it seems that soldering that blue cable is important because mines still not working

I'm not sure if the blue cable is an earth but the spring touches the motor casing.
Well done! But the switch price is about half the impact price ...
It is but on some other models there are big savings to be made.
I think this is the xdt11 in USA. I still run it brushless or not. It has less wabble than other models and feels better.

Hey mate. It's not clear where the blue cable goes. I have looked under the casing but just can't seem to find it. Cheers
The blue cable has a spring on it and it sits between the body and the outer metal casing of the motor in a little pocket in the plastic
Where are you putting the blue wire?
The spring has a small location under the motor casing.
Thanks
good
Anyone ever find the irony in having to use tools to fix other tools?
