Hello Brynne, Here is a tip for you that worked for me : - do push ups everyday - each week add 5 repetations to your set - add 1 set to your workout - stick to your workout, don't do any set more than what you should do that day Good luck and have fun
6 to 9 in one day apart is huge progress 50% ahead I think this challenge will be done soon like 12 15 18 and 20 given that eating and sleeping and working out well, strong looking triceps you have which means pushing can be a piece of cake for you 👍
Congrats on the 9 reps beez! I would join you in this challenge but I'm unable to do regular pushups lol. I can do girl pushups but even then I can't do very many of them lol.
A hack to help you do more is in the starting position engage your core first and draw your hips forward. It will put you in a more powerful position and carry your body weight through the movement with more control.
Isn't it easier if you do them a little faster? I feel like you're really fatiguing the muscles by doing it so slow and that's probably why you can't do as many. Maybe I'm wrong.
