Kanefan701 Agreed, mate. It's only a matter of time until both engine's doublehead on a rail tour over the East Coast Main Line. Flying Scotsman representing Sir Nigel Gresley's A1 and A3 Pacific's and Tornado representing Arthur Peppercorn's A1 Pacific's. Also, had I been leading the restoration project, Scotsman would've been painted in BR Apple Green, but I digress.
Yeah Scotsman's whistle is rubbish and needs some fixing, I think Tornado's chime certainly showed it up in the double header, it was amazing to see them double heading for the first time! Thanks for Watching!
Thanks James :) They’re both lovely Locos :) The double header was amazing :) I’d definitely love to see it happen on the Mainline especially at speed :)
the moment finally happened where Tornado and Scotsman worked together.... history made right there.

It was certainly a big moment in Railway history! :) I was very lucky to see it :)
1:57 Scotsman's whistle is still clogged!
Nice to see that both very well known British steam locos finally doubleheaded together!

Excellent stuff, my two favourite steam engines as a double header - would love to see this at full chat on the mainline.
