They don't last long. I bought one back in 2021. in 2 years, the bridge started to pull away from the top and the nut broke. My advice is save up for a little more and buy something a little more upscale, or at least one that'll last longer that this atrocity.
I bought a DG120pro Vangoa 12 sting for $280 after tax. This guitar is the nicest guitar in my collection beautiful easy to play sounds awesome. I took a chance. I love this guitar. Beginners are life long guitarists.Get one now while you can for this great price. The only bad thing is it’s made China 👍
Hi, bought a ice tea burst D Angelo 12 string from Amazon. I like mine too. It’s beautiful you play one very beautifully. I’m going to finger pick mine. I’m a finger style guitarist. I’ve been playing since 1974. I love guitar. It’s a part of my life. That’s really sounds super cool right out of the box.😎😎😄❤️ love it. I just love guitars.😄🎸🎼🎵🎶🎸😄
I bought one of these in Koa wood. It's gorgeous and the sound is incredible. Mine came with a cheap plastic capo, and the strings weren't in a package, but just plastic holding them together, but I don't care because this guitar is incredible even if it had cost 3 times what I paid at Amazon! The thin G broke after some time playing and I decided to change them all to better strings and tune open G down a 1/2 step. While I had all the strings off, I straightened the neck just a touch and it was perfectly straight. The frets were all perfect.but the nut wasn't glued. No problem The tuners need some getting used to. I'll probably change them. Now you have me wanting to buy another Vangoa 12 to tune standard E. Your playing is great as is the guitar!
I've been researching 12 string guitars...... Tried a few .... Watched a number of vids of acoustics in my price range under 1000...... Orangewood is U.S. but builds in china too..... They do a complete once over , and set up before they go to the end user ..... I've watch a couple , or even a few of the Vangoa 12 s vids and i am thinking ( even with the differences in a presenters audio equipment and equipment quality ) that the Vangoa 12s sounds better ..... even better than Guilds Chinese 2512E model . Just like another commenter said ..... i too am tempted to make the leap and try a mail order guitar . Or should i say ... just this one at least .
to the best of my knowledge, there is no other 12-string on the market for less than $300 other than the Oscar Schmidt, so this sounds like a great deal, according to your review.
So the guitar is under 300 dollars but than you have to add in at least another 100 for a setup so that it won't make your fingers bleed while you're playing it😅! That is if you're even lucky enough to have a good luthier anywhere near your area so that you don't have the hassle and expense of mailing it out and hoping it comes back in one piece again. Also I believe that your Breedlove will outlive this cheap one for durability and longevity.
There's a lot of simple things that can done by the non-luthier guitarist. Your comment can be applied to any budget guitar that you haven't personally played. Like all cheap guitars this one is targeted towards those that want to try their hand at 12 string but cannot or do not want to make a 1k investment and the fact is 12 string guitars are the type of guitar you want to play that often. So why not take a flyer on a cheap 12'er?
Unless you buy a Boucher ...... Or a guitar from a luthier that builds a few at a time like Hozen ..... they will all need the "" new guitar set up process""

Sure it can. It’s not the quality of the guitar, it’s the talent of the player.
Soooometimes it's the quality. At the end of the day a First Act from Walmart isn't going to sound as good as the next level up.
