I won one on Facebook. Sounded crappy out of the box. I changed strings, which made some improvements, but had major buzzing. I read the booklet that came with it and sighted down the neck; way off. After adjusting the neck the guitar sounds great! Hey, free guitar that sounds good, amazing. I’ve been using it in our band for our country songs.
@@dennisaltaffer6422 Both. I have the mic mixed with the direct sound to give it fullness. For $200 I'd set the expectation low, lol, if you get what I'm saying, so you may be pleasantly surprised.
Just ordered one for our 15 year old son. He's been playing for about 3 years and already has a semi hollow(jazz box) unsure of the brand, a fender strat, a fender Tele , and a Fender dreadnought acoustic. Notice the Fender theme lol. He had one Gibson but due to a spinal issue he can't really use super heavy guitars. Anyway he's been begging us for a 12 string and we were originally going to go pay half and he was going to pay the other half(he works weekends). However at this price point we elected to purchase it for him. He's going to be so surprised. Thanks for helping to show we made the right decision.
I bought a new Mitchell 12 acoustic at guitar center around $270.at first beautiful then the bridge raised badly, the strings went way out from the guitar, then the electronics went out (with) new battery. It went from the store to my car to my room that’s all. I took it back and got a new Gretsch jr electric 6 string. I got an old fender 12 acoustic only I bought in a pawnshop $160,I had new strings put on and Beautiful/excellent sound.
Dude, your 12-string sounds flat because you didn't tune it properly. The lower 4-string pairs should be tuned an octave apart. The treble pairs, the e and b strings, should be tuned to the same octave. Try it. You will be stunned.
Ahhh, man, thank you! But I don't even have the guitar anymore. I will DEFINITELY try that next time. Wish I would have consulted you before I made the video lol 😆.
All laminate but the case and accessories are almost worth the $209 price tag! The cheap 12 strings rarely stay in tune but hard to argue that’s not a deal!
@@P_B_FR Yes I definitely agree with you. After traveling to Kenya last September/October 2022, I learned that $200 USD is more than many people make in a month.
@@UrbanGuitarLegend how was Kenya, culture wise. I feel like we don't really hear about that stuff, and I've never been out of europe EDIT I've just noticed it sounds like I think people from Kenya are uncultured, obviously they do have culture (like 3500 years of it).
@@P_B_FR Kenya is great! yes they have ALOT of culture, many different tribes. Nairobi, Mombassa, Diani, Watamu and Malinda is mainly where I went. Watamu is a beautiful beach town. with computer aided design and laser tech, the high end guitars will not be able to compete. the only advantage of the big names is wood quailty. China can clone just about anything for 10% of the price.
The big name companies use CNC as well. Literally all of them. Watch a Gibson factory tour video or Martin. Almost everything is automated now. Martin aren’t even using humans to put the finish on guitars anymore.

Awesome, glad it all worked out in the end albeit with a little work involved.
This guitar is AMAZING!!!! Let me know what you think in the comments.
Are we hearing the electronics or do you have a mic on it? I am really interested in the plugged in sound for gigs?

Very cool 😎. What model was the Fender?
Your playing is amazing my brother
Thanks bro!
This is the best review of this guitar I have seen
Great! glad you found it useful!
Getting mine delivered tomorrow. Can't wait. My first 12 string!!
Sweet, let me know how it goes.
Wow I want one. I've never owned a 12 string but I've played them from time to time. I'm a novice at best. I also subscribed. Love the video.
Very little investment to try one out.
Thank you for the review excellent ✌️❤️
No problem, thank you for watching.
I’m looking to get one, is the action alright towards the very bottom of the fretboard?
I don't have the guitar anymore but the one I had was good with action all across the fretboard.
I have one of these coming tomorrow, for £139 I wouldn't cry if it was barely playable, I'm cautiously hopeful it'll be good now I've watched this
Yeah for the money I was quite shocked at how playable it was.
I just payed $169 for the same one.
@@faux2193 It's good quality for the price point for sure, in my opinion.
I bought one of these after watching several reviews including yours. I'm very happy with it. My skill level is way way below yours..lol..
Glad the review helped!
With all those accessories you'd think it could play itself!
I know right? Thanks for the comment.
Has the bridge ever lifted off the guitar. I'm looking to buy one .
No, the bridge never lifted off for me.

Beautiful guitar , full with sound and you play great Hope you do a tuning session for the 12 string

That riff is amazing are there any tabs?
Not yet. It's part of a song I wrote called "Fool for you"
Nice review- really like the playing. +1 -a random mike
Thank you I appreciate you listening!

Exactly, I agree 👍 the price is hard to beat.
Great demo! Does this guitar have a solid top?
Good question. I do not know the answer.
No
hey I have a question, do you think this guitar is good for requintos??
Not sure, but it is actually higher pitched than my video shows because I was recording it direct and with a mic simultaneously to get a fatter tone.
Like requinto for Mexican music? Because if you are doin Mexican music requinto I do recommend using it
❤❤❤
Wow, for a $200.00 12 string acoustic, it doesn't look or sound bad, I think I might purchase one 😎
For the money it's pretty good 👍

Will Fender or Gibson buy the company and kill it?
Good question... anything is possible. Though they probably aren't really on the radar.
