This game has the bones to be good but the level up skills need a complete rework. Biggest mistake these games make is just flat damage, fire rate, reload upgrades. The majority of Overclocks need to be adjusted as well. It's just lazy adding -25% damage but plus 25% damage to your other weapons. Be imaginative!
@@colby8104 100% agreed. Plus the meta progression needs work. 1-2% additions just don’t feel impactful. Not to mention they drop lower when they cost more. They actually drop from 2 to 1%. So essentially the progression is only leveling up your classes for subclasses and unlocking weapons then evolving them - which sucks.
You will have great fun. GAme is not easy and need to grind the guns overclocks before unlocking them to use but its worth it in the end as you can see.
honestly i don't mind grind to a point; it all depend on how they do it. it adds longevity to the game and most time the grind rewards make it worth it. like beating a boss in a soul like, that u struggle on, but when u beat it.. it feels rewarding. i get same feeling when grinding to unlock new weapons or talents. but their been time that the reward just fell flat. @@BrokensPlayz
We will see what the game brings. I have seen a roadmap so somethings are exciting for the future. The weapons are plenty in the game with different build paths. Only issue i have is its nearly impossible to win without getting a msx level weapon or 2 in the runs
sidetrack, i saw a new game that on sale for cheap. called "Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood" not sure if u tried or looked at it, thinking grabbing it as well. as it inspired by the movie, which i enjoyed.
The game is pretty fun. Loads of meta progression like mad amounts. I bought it last year and been meaning to make some videos on it but so many newer games have been popping up I havent had time to haha@@pandanecromancer4098

@colby8104 the kinetic overclocks seem lackluster. However I have discovered one or 2 that are pretty awesome haha

this game look so fun. can't wait to get it. i used to play original DDG a lot. so a rogue-like version was unexpected
