This is probably my favorite FF song out of them all. I was so against vocals in the ost at first but it grew on me so much.
FF XIII is one of the most underrated games I know. Two achievements (Long Gui and treasure hunter) left on Steam. Platinum'd it on PS3 last year already.

@blakbro2k I don't know what you meant by "long standing partners" but this isn't trolling, it's a fact. Ronaldowen273, XXBakuganMasterXX, and SilentWeaponsIII have uploads that go beyond 15 minutes. BrawlBRSTMs had some up to a half hour before he lost everything.
And yes, i know about the recent increase of 10 to 15 mins on July 2010.
Got the disc on a xbox one, a while back, which I gave to my son. Heard this song play, and immediately bought the digital download for my Series S. I have the will to complete this game.
After like 10 years of listening to this, a full 8 minutes just goes by so fast. My favourite chapters..
So I'm not the only one listening to this song in 2022.

Same. This is the best soundtrack to ever grace video gaming. Hamauzu took so much inspiration from Mitsuda, it's obvious. These tracks are just dripping with Mitsuda's melodies.

Still my favorite song from XIII. I thought it was cool when it first started playing but when the voice comes in... OMG. Always on my mixes for work, even the ones that have no other FF songs.
2010-2023 & it’s still the greatest ff of all time man. This game holds a special place in my heart as well as the superb music my god… if only we got a pt. 4.

I know, I'm a noob lol. I played KH1-2 before, and had friends who played ff but never had an opportunity to. In 2013, my friend gave me this when I got my first ps3. The nostalgia is great, I wish I still had this game 😢
For those who played Ace Combat 7, play this on mission 19, fitted in too well (for me atleast)
I listened to this music longer than any final fantasy theme, because of grinding to kill the adamantoises. I found myself whistling the music for hours on end.
First time actually listening to the song was when I paused to reset after losing to the adamantoise, came back and listened to this for like 10 minutes straight without unpausing

This ost just goes to show exactly why I say the 13 series has the best music throughout the whole series. Idk that ladies voice though I do know she passed away if I’m not mistaken . Her vocals in alot of the series music is surreal . It’s beautiful

This is 3rd best to the Archylte Steppe ext. and Saber's Edge ext. versions. Where is Eidolons ext? You guys do great jobs with these Extended versions. Esp when you have to exercise or cook!! Lol
This game is one of the Best Final Fantasy, but the gamers was not ready at the time, now if you compares this great game against the FF XV, is better, for me is the Last Great Game of this franchise.

God FF13 was done so dirty! It's not the most perfect game, but it's still pretty damn good. Doesn't deserve the hate it gets. 1 remaster for ps4/ps5 with some minor gameplay tweaks would make this game SHINE

It actually sounds like, "Lift up your hand" rather than "Lift up your hands". Actually, to be technical, it sounds exactly like she is singing, "Life up your Hand".

@JenniferReturn actually, the video limit if you did not request it prior to 2006 is 15 minutes, so no one is 'starting' upload 20 minute videos unless they are long standing partners. Also The 15 minute limit was only increased from 10 minutes in July 2010, take the time to note when this video was uploaded. But thanks for the comment, and happy trolling!

I listen to this when I go for a jog. Sometimes when I'm finished running, I think a boss monster will just appear out of nowhere :S
The 3rd disc really ruined this game. Intising people to grind just for buffing stats. Unlike the rest of the FF series. Lucky for me I found an exploit that gave me plenty of CP points just to finish the story. Even the sphere grid from FFX was good compared to the Crystarium which was a major downfall to this game.
8 minutes is nothing. People are starting to upload 20 minute videos. BrawlBRSTMs had every FF13 uploaded for 15 minutes at one point.
I can't find the english lyrics proper anywhere, only translated original that aren't the same words.
