Whisky .com reviews the Arran The Bothy. The Bothy is reminiscent of the time of the 18th and 19th century, when the distillery used smaller casks. It finished for 18 months in small Quarter Casks and bottled at cask strength.
The nose:
Light, malt, sugar, sweet, fruits, pinapple, green apple
The taste:
Oily, sugar, spicy
The finish:
Medium with a hint of chilli and sandalwood
