The story is set when Qinghe Nie Sect was dealing with their ancestral blade tomb incident. Nie Mingjue brought Nie Huaisang alone to do good for others by restoring the tomb back to its original state to ensure peace in the Nie sect.
Through this, Nie Huaisang went from a playful disciple to maturing into the next generation sect leader and Nie Mingjue understood his brother more and helped him grow.

The Untamed has gone so faaaarr!!! From being the best novel and highest grossing novel in China into being made into anime with lots of translations, translated versions of MDZS is everywhere with sound. Then, an adaptation of it made into "The Untamed" that was loved and cherished by many from the mainland China to around the world. The casts gained appreciation and popularity from their country to international fans as well. It opened opportunities to them. It's the only drama that made into a huge concert with all the characters participating. Not just one concert but a lot! And...Now! They made a group called TUBS (Ji Li, Fanxing, Yubin, Bowen, Jiyang, and Yuchen) although not an official boy group, it's a good thing not to waste such a talent. After The Untamed, two move spin-offs were made which are "Fatal Journey" and "The Living Dead" because of demands. These are stories of Nie brothers (Nie Mingjue and Nie Huaisang) on how and what's the story behind Huiasang's revenge to Jin Guangyao in TU. The other is the story of Wen Ning and Wen Yuan (Sizhui) on their journey of being the last Wens in the drama. Many projects were done because of the strong request from all fans accross the world. Now, they're planning to have a world tour of TUBS.

Fuck it! This gotta be the best spin off movie of The Untamed. It's so amazing that they made it for the Nie Brothers since among all the other clans, Nie and Wen are the two clans that have a behind story that deals with their own problem. Wen deals with the dancing peri while Nie deals with sword spirit.
The movie really showed how much the brothers loved each other and so when Da-ge died, Huaisang didn't hesitate to revenge. We also knew why and how Huaisang knew it's A-yao who killed his bro.
This movie showed that Huaisang has always been an inteligent kid ever since. He's just a happy-go-lucky and doesn't mind wars since he knows that his brother will always be there to protect him. But, he needed to change. He needed to avenge his bro. He was already intelligent before and that is what he used to plot his plan. He never showed anybody his different side. He's an innocent and I-don't-know kid to the eyes of other because he has to be so they won't suspect him. I don't think he is evil. Even the author of the novel said that he did bad things to WWX and others but he needed it so he can avenge his bro. His backstory is fucking painful. He just wanted to live with his Da-ge but Jin guangyao ruined it all.
This movie made me cry a ton! Damn it! I love it! 100/10
