I’ve just watched the two episodes back to back and now I’m even more hyped to pick up my new-to-me 1190 Adventure in a couple of days. Didn’t think that you actually got to go on a tour on the 1090 before it met its untimely demise.
That’s a great feeling to have! Congrats on the new (amazing) steed! I was very happy that i did at least get one good trip out of the Austrian and i utterly loved the machine!
Awesome place and great video. Having to backtrack was natures way of saying you need to come back and see that again!! Love the KTM, an awesome bike, such a shame what happened to it. Hope you are still enjoying the Tuareg. Scott.
Thanks very much Scott! I think you’re absolutely right mate. I’d really love to go and see it all again! Loving the Tuareg, hoping to get some Italian based content out soon!!
Fantastic scenery and wonderful solitude Andy - plus the frisson of death by exposure if you get it wrong 😂 Just bought on of them there Nishua helmets - yes they're kind enough to still sell them to us in the UK and will happily refund you the VAT wrongly charged by HMRC! Looking forward to the rest of the trip on the late lamented KTM and future adventures on the Aprilia.
It’s the perfect combo! 😅 Though it strangely wasn’t as cold as it looked. Though it did go down to freezing at night! Enjoy the new lid. I’m still loving mine and considering replacing all the pads for a new lease of life!
A day of complete unadulterated faffery! It's Andymancam, what else would you expect lol. Fantastic scenery and didnt look too cold for Norway. Hope your continued travels involve just as many "unplanned" excursions, they're the most fun ones. Unplanned is the next unplugged!
What a brilliant journey. I have not been present for a while. Life took some turns I was not expecting. Took a bit of time to remove the Vaseline from the steering wheel and get it all going straight. I’m watching this thinking “where’s the KTM gone?” I think I have some catching up to do.
I've got to admire your bottle, Andy, going to places so way out that in the unfortunate event of a breakdown it would take the recovery vehicle at least a week to find you. Nevertheless a superb video.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you don't know where you're going any road will take you there, it's all part of the fun. ADV bikes give you more options. What a place...
11:42 actually... You said "look at that" 2 times very clearly (once each at 3:47 and 8:00 ) and you even snuck one in at 8:39 in a mumbling sort of way 😂 ⭐
It’s been a while since I’ve watched your channel (so many channels subscribed to) but happy to be back and watch you tackle some off road. I am an off road novice so this is great for me , I’m really enjoying your trip. Could I ask what trickery you used to fit bar ends just inside your hand guards ? It’s exactly what I want to do on my Crf 300 . Keep up the exemplary work 👍
Thanks very much and welcome back! Seems you came at the right time! The SW Motech handguards had a perfect 22mm diameter bit that was sticking out between the bar and the handguard. So I mounted the bar end mirrors over that. Sadly the handguards broke (as you saw) so I can''t necessarily recommend that as a solution! They were also not very solid and I had to readjust them every time I got off and on the bike!! Rotweiler mirrors is probably the safest (if most expensive) way to go.
I've missed the cinematic quality that is Mr AMC's videos!!!! Nothing quite like it and takes you on a journey - thanks for bringing us along with you on what looks like an amazing trip (despite the "failures" of the route... ;) :) :D :D ). Looking forward to the next one... :) Did you ever get the bill for the NOK40...? ;)
It is quite strange to me to see him not using a GPS-Navi mounted above the dashboard... Picking the phone from the pocket at every stop would drive me crazy in no time.
Hi Andy, did you ever get round to changing the screen? If so what for? I have the 1190 R, and the std tinted R screen, and the clear taller std 1190/1090 ones are so noisy and buffeting.
The most success i had was with an MRA sport screen, which i then fitted a Vario spoiler to (you can see the holes). Though I’ve been utterly convinced by the MRA X-creen which i have on the Aprilia. Night and day difference, with a stock screen and no holes.
Har du betalt.... sounds German, because Norwegian is from the German language group. Together with Swedish, Danish, Dutch, Afrikaans and (yes it is also from!) English
All correct! This was the 1090 that i had until somebody knocked me off it (very shortly after this trip). Now it’s all about the Aprilia Tuareg that replaced it.
Excellent video, greatly scenery and commentary 👌 thanks for sharing 🏴 🏍👌
If I was 30 years younger and still had working knees... ;-)
Such a beautiful land, Cheers Andy :)
Snow.! The only substance we haven't had so far in London this year.
Not something to be too sad about though!
Beautiful, the nature obviously 😉
Totally. The snow, although annoying, did give everything a bit more of a magical feel. Amazing.
Your endless fights with the Norwegian language are just amazing 😄 Don't ever give up. And yes...l'm Norwegian.
I try my very best! 😅 Luckily my German is more convincing, otherwise they’d have kicked me out already! 😂
Seems like the rainy cold weather is never going to end in the UK so it’s nice to watch some more footage of you buggering about in Norway..
Very happy to be of service John! Hopefully the weather will change before i can get the next vid out!

Looks amazing with all that snow...guess I'd have frozen to death there.🤣
Only if you’d crashed in the snow! At times the temperature was actually quite pleasant! You can see when the vents are open on my jacket!!

Cheers! I couldn’t agree more! Although the most unknown, this was possibly the most enjoyable and relaxed trip I‘ve had to date!
What a brilliant journey.

Nice one Andy. Looks like you're having way too much fun.
Cheers Mike! You’re not wrong there mate!! Great time!

Nevertheless a superb video.
When you put it like that, maybe not my smartest idea! Lot of fun though! No risk, no fun!! Cheers very much Jim!!
Astonishingly Punny 👍
😋😚🤡
Excellent video brother 👍
Thank you very much DH!
Awesome stuff Andy 🙂
Cheers very much Pete! I’m hooked now!
@@AndyManCam it is quite addictive hey 😁
@HippoDrones Absolutely! Mildly terrifying, but definitely addictive!
Amazing trip again 😊❤
“I love the shit out of this bike” Said every 1090/1190/1290 owner ever.
May have to meet up again in Glossop, looks like your sticker has changed might not be allowed in France next month with old sticker 😊

I totally agree! On tarmac trips with similar routing problems I was always livid! This tome round, I really couldn’t have cared less! ADV FTW!
@@AndyManCam you're a little late to the party, but you're getting the idea now.

Another top vid Andy, any chance you could do one daily 😂😂👍

Great scenery! Is this the trip from the last year, Andy?
Hi Andy, what bar end mirrors are those, do you have a link? Thanks, drive safe

Can you ever take a "wrong" turn in Norway?
I don’t think you actually can! Most of the turns in this trip weren’t what I’d planned, but none of them felt wrong!
Har du betalt.... sounds German, because Norwegian is from the German language group. Together with Swedish, Danish, Dutch, Afrikaans and (yes it is also from!) English
What bike is this?
Ktm 1090 adventure
Andy is now on an Aprilia Tuareg I believe
All correct! This was the 1090 that i had until somebody knocked me off it (very shortly after this trip). Now it’s all about the Aprilia Tuareg that replaced it.
Oh man. Second 😢
Second the best, first the worst, third the golden eagle!
In joy, stay up right rubber side down,😄 or will come round fit pinky stayberlizers with tassels 💅🛵
Oooh dear, nobody wants that! I’ll try my best! 😅
