I visited this location on Christmas day after flying into Greensboro from upstate NY. It is a beautiful casino in the Caesars style. However, they allow smoking throughout the casino which is a BIG turnoff for most serious gamblers these days. IMO, it will not survive 5 years unless they change that policy or at least limit smoking to select sections such as the poker room. They cannot survive off just local tobacco farmers or people visiting from nearby cities such as Greensboro gambling here. They need serious gamblers with deep pockets. Most Caesar properties are non-smoking already and the most of whales circulating today are crypto or tech billionaires who will not tolerate smoking where they gamble.
