Would love to see this car with a vortech blower. At 400whp N/A I imagine it would inevitably push into the upper 500whp range even without an intercooler or smaller pulley.
I also have a cammed 04 MACH (Comp 106300) with full bolt-ons and gears. What did you have to change to go to E85? What size injectors did you need? I was considering E85 but not sure what is involved
@@EGPerformance Thanks for the information, man. I have 39lb injectors now so it seems I will have to change these out. Sorry, one more question. Did you have to change fuel lines also to handle Ethanol?
@@EGPerformance Thanks again. I will just do a little research on the fuel pump to see if I need that. Maybe its time to start gathering some parts though. lol
Something is wrong with your number because on normal fuel you do 378 wheel horsepower on on video on e85 dyno you do 364wheel horsepower and said you gain 20hp when convert to e85 but in fact you lost 14. Best I can get with same mod in my mach 1 engine in ac cobra is 336 wheel hp. It should be 20% at engine more so 404hp. What wrong am I right??
Dany Perras yea your reading the sheet wrong. The car does not loose hp it gains the 20hp they said. Your looking at the non wc number which varies depending on weather of course.
Mach 1’s are rated at 305 but they had 320 like the ‘01 cobras. If you really think about it the 03-04 Mach 1s are essentially 2001 cobras with a functional ram air scoop. It doesn’t make sense that ford would use an engine they’ve used before then magically have it produce 15 hp less. When they were brand new one car tv show was able to get an ‘04 to do a 13.1 quarter mile being 100% STOCK. With the weight of that vehicle that’d be impossible with 305 horsepower. You added about 135 hp not 150 hp. Phenomenal car btw! I’m extremely jealous. Saving up to buy one right now. Still probably a year away tho :-( Link to that 13.1 quarter mile below th-cam.com/video/n5O7oR5NHfc/w-d-xo.html
Suq Madiq the cams are a little different in the 01 cobra compared to the mach. Thats the power difference there. They are at 305 not 320. They are pretty much the same motor but with slightly different parts.
Mach 1 had higher compression by half a point and they had 5.4 cams so more midrange power than cobras . I had an 04 comp orange mustang and from experience from highway speeds cobras will edge you out.
The Mach 1 ran a 13.1 in the 1/4 mile. Maybe the cams were different maybe they weren’t. But that’s just too fast for 305 hp at that weight. The math doesn’t add up.
Damn i don't think I've seem a n/a mach 1 hit 400whp before, impressive
Great video. Thats very impressive.
Nice car brother
Love these cars. Nice vid
Thanks!
Bad ass build man! Get a ported short runner for it! Worth it
This thing is wicked, holy sh*t
Damnnn sick ass car built the motor & time for some boost !
We are NA guys for now.

All we did was get 47lb injectors. Might need a different fuel pump but I’m not 100% on that.

machxlr8 I bought a stock fuel hat from a termi and it’s plug and play
Put it up against your 2016 gt!!
I’m curious what you did to your fuel system so that you could use the E 85?
I made a video about that. Let me see if i can share the link with you.

Were these cams degreed when they were installed?
No they were not degreed

I think your looking at the non weather correction number. Trust me, we wouldnt say we made 400 if we didnt

@@jimpena1754 I think the Mach 1 cams traded top end for torque down low correct?

@@suqmadiq6653 my very first run down the drag strip was a 13.4 at 104.....dont remember but the car had 69,000 miles on it at the time.
E85 is corrosive.
