I 100% totally agree with you that these three apps are all you need to produce high quality professional looking videos for posting on social media. There really is no reason to burden yourself with trying to learn Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier. Unless you are planning to produce independent films or commercials for high end clients. And thanks to your simple and clear tutorials I am loving it.
Wow, I didn't realize all what you've shared, me being an owner of a MacBook Air M1 and starting my own TH-cam channel. You're a savior, buddy. Please do share more skill-based tips for us beginners in video editing and other video-making stuff. You're a blessing! Thank you!
I made weekly films for an Outdoor Education company in California for fifteen years, using nothing more than a canon camcorder, and iMovie. The film industry is ridiculously over-inflated.
What??? I didn't know those free tools could do so much. This is so uncommon to hear on TH-cam. This channel is a very interesting discovery. Hopefully you have video playlists teaching from scratch how to make videos for TH-cam using those 3 apps.
Inspirational! We are a modestly successful, Sydney Suburban History TH-cam channel, who already use iMovie and Keynote, but you have challenged us to see what we have overlooked in all the apps you have mentioned. It is almost beyond belief, that so much could be covered comprehensively and clearly in five minutes and two seconds. I shall say no more, but will definitely be sharing this video with others.

Great video, thanks very much. I’ve just subscribed to your channel. Which video should I start with for a complete beginner wanting to make a TH-cam video on my MacBook? Thanks From Sydney, Australia
Well I just subscribed because if you can show how you did all of this in each one of the apps you mentioned I am set. Excellent. I'm retired, but want to use your wonderful tutorials to do KISS videos for my musical pursuits. I like how Mac builds in so much free software that can do the vast majority of my audio and video projects I hope to get around to. The only software I bought so far is PG Music's "Band in a Box" (up to Version 2022), because it's great to creating a quick backing band for a lot of the songs I do, which I can refine further in the built in Garage Band. I really have not done so much yet, but all the tools are here. Thanks for covering my video side of life in the Mac, ha.

When you mentioned making standard videos vertical for social media it sparked something I have been trying to figure out. Is there a way to take a standard video, crop for vertical, but then do Ken Burns style panning to keep the subject in the frame. Like if I am standing in front of the camera and take a step or two to the side, I am still in a standard frame, but half or more of me would be gone when cropped to vertical.
