Hes the only person to put ash above d teir I've seen but high b ot low a teir feels for me. She feels solid just kinda bland on some stuff. Has like 5 voicelines
I have no idea why people think the alter ult with downed players thing is a bug. This was shown in the latest trailer, its definitely a feature.
Plus I'd consider it risk-reward, you put down your shield for the chance at coming back to the team, it works just fine
Ikr. It saved my life. Especially if you have a lifeline on your team. Cuz the lifeline can take it too and pick you up. Although it can be a double edged sword cuz if fuse knows where it is all it takes is a single knuckle cluster to bring you down again so it's best to place it out of sight
And considering they can follow you through it it’s still a massive risk
@@kylevanderwolf4446 they can't follow you through it. Only the squad can. They can track your movement trails but only your squad can actually enter them
if downed teammates can take wraith and ash's portal, why not alter's right? definitely not a bug.

I feel like any legend now can be viable in ranked. But it is crazy to think Gibby is one of the weaker legends now if you consider how he was a must pick from like season 3 all the way up to like season 13
yeah he can still do his thing in ranked, but I feel there are better options atm

Gibby just has a ton of counters now and it’s kinda sad to see him fall so far

I absolutely love this legend upgrade system, it allows them to constantly buff/nerf legends easily. It feels like there is more content on new season releases now

@@shalindelta7 Anyone with enough game sense and IQ can play any legend in the game. Wattson is better at defense than Ash but Ash is better at fighting and getaways, with the changes to her tactical she is much better.
@thekvng201 No shit Sherlock that's why they're in those respective categories. Doesn't change the fact that Wattson is the better legend overall. You cam play aggro with wattson if you have sense and IQ but you'll struggle hard with Ash in defense.

I main Wattson. You WILL get stunned by her fences just like a wraith portal. What's even better about it though is enemies get stunned in the small invulnerability time when coming out of the portal so they're already slowed. Wattson will be the best counter to Alter out of all the controller legends.
Nope wattson is very situational and if you are smart you can avoid her traps. Alter is very strong against wattson, Newcastle, rampart and catalyst with her tactical. The only counter to alter imo is fuse and mad Maggie, whose tactical can hinder alter from just jumping through her portal.

slight argument for ballistic, been playing with his new perk and it basically allows you to ignore the need for attachments altogether. for example, if you're running havoc, volt, mastiff and have purple shield you can essentially switch the volt and havoc in and out of the sling and have purple attachments for either whenever.....all you need is the mastiff attachments. it's been working out for me
Something to note about Caustic is the gas acts like a scan for you as you can track where the damage is coming from.

That happened to me last season. Usually I'm about 1.25 kd, last season bc of the terrible first few weeks I finished I think around 0.75 lmao

One thing to point out with caustic on broken moon… there is SO MUCH more cover now! POIs have a lot more little boxes and corners and random bits along the way between buildings etc… all sneaky spots to leave a trail of breadcrumbs… and when a whole team is rotating a path, and they all pass by a tree and set one off, that’s a good 40-60 damage sometimes and it all adds up over a game! There are times when I’ll have like 200-300 more damage just from people popping random traps I’ve hidden around back of a box they can’t see.
ABC- Always Be Caustic-ing! Once you’ve got a trap ready it should be going down somewhere. Be it just blocking a door to annoy an enemy or maybe it keeps an enemy from getting to cover and they get killed outside.
for Vantage, maybe they could change one of her 2nd upgrades so that it puts like a 2s delay on her ult laser showing up after scoping in
Alter's teammates can take the Nexus while downed. This is a FEATURE not a bug. It was shown in the gameplay trailer on Monday, go take a look. Overall, seems like a rushed tier list IMHO. I would definitely revisit this list in the feature and maybe take a second look at legends you glossed over.
Saying Wattson can't hold down a room as well as Cat is a bit of an L take considering Wattson just won a LAN. She's the QUEEN of locking down an area since Season 2 and will continue to do so until we start seeing more Crypto EMPs.
I also thought a feature was meant to be the enemy cant take it too, but we got pounced on when taking it back to rez cause the enemy came thru with us lol

It will be annoying as hell. Like im BallSuck main also i like Vantage and you know devs implemented very strong cores in both of them but I feel like devs kinda scared of Vantage meta or Ballistic meta because how much Vantage main will be abuse sniper ult
The sniper mark should track footsteps and bat should get a rework

That’s why this is the BEST BR game. Everything seems so balanced in terms of legends. Just some players utilise them better. Love it
solos mode made me realize how truly privileged of a character horizon is, she can just do whatever she wants lol
i halfway agree with your take on wattson her lvl2 upgrade does suck but i think your wrong about catalyst having better outplayability against alter catalyst can only hold down doors and small patches of floor where the fences a can cover or spiderweb across the entirety of most small buildings and rooms the phase may protect against the first fence on the door but fences have so much more coverage options than the spikes especially if there's a gen out
Can’t agree with putting horizon in the same tier as revenant and bloodhound while she’s remained consistent and strong just not borderline broken tier in all honesty
the main reason people were only using the sling weapon for ballistics ult mostly was because it defaulted to nothing or level 1 equips, the only way sling would be more useful in fights was only through ulting. now that you can get levels for the sling its WAY more useful especially off revive because ballistic can sling a gun off revive and get a fully equiped blue or purple grade weapon. were going to see MUCH more sling usage now
No D tier legends says a lot about the balancing in this game.

I think one thing they could do to buff valk is give her ult a kind of afterburner effect where she can burn people when landing on them. Like the fuze ult, just without the slow.

9:39 got a correct you there mirage was OP at one point because if you remember back near his launch he was able to stay invisible with his ultimate for like five seconds and hold his weapon out to be that guy, but not that many people know this so but I do agree with you about removing his features
I fell like catalyst is s tier there is so much you can do with her ultimate if you use it right and at the right time and also her tactical is good especially when the last rings are in buildings etc,

Alter also doesn’t counter Wattson. It you use x patterns instead of just a straight line, you can trap an alter and kill her so easily.
I agree. Alter can't just walk into a Wattson setup for free. Once she sees the fences she either has to commit or go back and rethink (her life). Additionally, getting rezzed at 50% is the difference between you catching a stray bullet and going down again vs tanking the shot and getting the swap.
He didn't even bother talking about how Split Circut now grants you FULL shield regen off of twin gens instead of 150sheilds each. But ya know, I don't really expect someone who didn't even mention Wattson winning a LAN to ever mention this.

Personally I think that wattson is B tier because if you are holding down a room all u have to do to counter the alter portal is fill the room with fences as well and because u can't see fences while in phase if the room is relatively small they will 100% hit one of the fences

Gotta argue the Watson being so low, Watson is a counter to Alter.
If I fence up a room and an Alter tacs into said room, she’ll be stunned and vulnerable.
Put them on the same team and you have a very fast portal trap through walls.
Add in her both ultimates and you have a STRONG synergy.
Also I do find myself using the sling weapon out of necessity.
Typically I don’t reload before going into Ult so if the fight is still going after ult (ballistic).

As someone who has always been very critical of how respawn has treated Crypto, I think he is A-tier this season, ESPECIALLY in ranked. His first lvl 3 perk is trash though compared to Hackathon. That speed boost is fantastic when it works
as a valk main it pains me to see how far shes fallen, she needs an ult height buff if they want her to be competitive with evac towers imo

New Castle is def S tier now. Him being able to throw down his shield alot faster now is insane. Plus his ult being Wattson ult plus coverage is insane. Also he has the best revive in the game.
Pathfinder hitbox is the same as Revenant

Did you just Rank Octane in the same tier as Newcastle? Best revive in the game, ability to create endgame cover, and his Q is one of the most powerful in the game once you understand how to use it

The alter ult thing is not a bug, and i wish people would know this sooner, the amount of times i drop my ult so i can rez my team and them not using it makes me so sad lol

Also from what ive seen, those grenade loot holds, if you use your tactical to go inside of them, the hold instantly opens and saves you from having to use a grenade to do so lol
also, try using her ult more for movement, in the sense of placing it at an off angle, ive done that alot and used it to quickly reposition behind teams when taking fights to beam them on the other side of the cover they are using .,

I gotta disagree with you on ballistic. The best part about the sling is that it allows you to cover all your bases. Shotgun or smg in the sling for close range AR as your primary for your medium range and a sniper as your secondary for your long range. The thing going for him is that he’s versatile I think he’s higher then where you placed him

Fuse Belongs in his own Tier.
IF you are playing with team mates who are definitely better than you, Fuse is the only legend you should pick.
IF your team mates are roughly equal to yourself in skill or worse, look else where.
Nah, Seer is indisputably the worst legend in the game. Gibby's one perk of auto reloading shotguns on knocks is more useful than Seers entire kit. L take. Also Wattson is one of the best control legends, and the best legend for countering Alter because if you fence the whole area the Alter will get stunned no matter what, or at least if shes too careful you can shoot her while she is destroying a fence. There is far more outplay potential on Wattson than Catalyst in any indoor situation, especially against Alters. And the reason Caustic isnt better is because most Caustic traps will be placed at doorways which Alter can easily bypass and even if they get caught in the gas, they can just port back but if they get caught in a Wattson fence they will get stunned way more and are far more vulnerable.
No vantage is the worst the only one who's the weakest recon Legend is vantage

@@oldjebidiahbrown2454 vantage doesn't have "Scan abilities" she needs a rework her passive maybe can she only do more damage with Sniper's, and her ult needs to have a highlight scan on enemies for 2.4 secs.
@@KaitDiaz47 it isn't a skill issue. His tactical is slow as shit and enemies can easily avoid it, and even if it hits the silence really doesn't last very long to make much of a difference. His ult has a super short duration and people can just crouch to not get scanned, and with how many Revs there are it is very likely that they'd crouch around in your Seer ult to ambush you. Bloodhound and Crypto are far more effective scan legends, with Crypto taking far more skill to use than Seer because there's only so much nuance to Seers abilities compared to Crypto. Also Vantages sniper is super easy to hit people with, and the 2 tap potential early game is ridiculous, and even though Vantage is the biggest recon character she is also the only one with some sort of movement ability. Even though it isn't a good movement ability, it is still better than nothing. Her passive is also fine because she is the only legend that has the potential to scan both ring consoles and survey beacons, which is a super strong benefit for ranked. There are far more situations where Vantage is powerful compared to Seer. Seer is only a problem when you rely on get-out-of-jail-free card movement abilities and you randomly get scanned, and even then most of the time if they are playing Seer they are usually new to the game and have no idea how bad Seer is so you can usually easily beat a Seer in a 1v1. I don't think Vantage needs buffed, but reworked a little because she is always doomed to be an early game stomper with little power end game. They should actually make her sniper like a recon tagging tool that does less damage but highlights enemies for longer, and allows teammates to do more damage to tagged enemies, adding a recon and team play element to her kit instead of just having a weapon for an ultimate like rampart.

Is it better to keep my game max at a 125 fr even if I have a 165 monitor?
I've tried both and can't seem to notice a difference, but the FR I'm consistent at is 125 without drops in FR.

It is funny that you put gibby at the lowest place of the tier list. It’s not because he has a strength that could massively change the fight. It is because newer player are thinking oh gibby is the worst… then a gibby player shows up and tries to bubble fight him. What do you think happens now? He’s not prepared to fight that bubble so this could be a free kill for the gibby. That means that even this Tierlauts give him a boost to a higher tier just because he is underrated.
Finally a tier list where Catalyst is put somewhere that makes sense
I'm pretty sure the fact that downed players can teleport to the Void Nexus is NOT a bug. Why? Because they showed it in the freaking trailer! And like you said, the Ult isn't that strong, if it wasn't for that.

So the thing about wattson being countered by alter is that she can trap entire rooms with her fences and make it impossible to move without going through her fences. Shes the only one who alter cant counter in a roo.
While it doesn't move her out of B-tier, Ash's Ult did get buffed as well. While phasing, she does see enemies highlighted in red.
Again, not enoigh for A-tier, but still a small buff.
Been a Loba main since I came back to apex in season 8, never thought of her as boring but I get what you mean. To me, I’d rather focus on positioning and fighting rather than looting. Nothing worse than having a kitted gun and everyone is running an ammo type you don’t need. The market can be huge in ranked to swipe heals late game
they straight up ruined valk's jetpack. even just jumping stops the regen. imagine not jumping in apex.
Horizon ult is so weak nowadays, it should have the same cd as mirage ult

Wattson being C tier is ridiculous, she is at least as good as catalyst and IMO rivals caustic.
For Ballistic, not that I would change his power ranking, but one thing you can do with him now that you couldn’t before is carry a more niche gun in your sling since it levels with your armor. For instance, I prefer AR and SMG, but I can put a sniper, marksman rifle, or shotgun in my sling and have it for when the situation benefits from that weapon. Making that weapon gold is obviously less useful, but I suppose you could end game swap your primary or secondary into your sling to pop your ultimate and drop all your attachments on the ground. Lol
Alter is my new main. Like her kit is just so insanely useful and void Nexus saved my life multiple times

I've played the new season for like 3 hours and my kd is at .16 when my kd last season was 1.7. I've died to the same 96,000 kill octane like every game

I feel like wattson counters alter.. wattson fences don’t need to just be one straight fence. We make zigg zaggs triangles just put that shit everywhere and that phase shit is dead and gone, you won’t be able to make it out. And the 50 Hp is to help basically boost off her ugly and give shields and extra hp on revive, she almost can replace a healer
Idk if this is a hot take but I think valk is genuinely useless rn. Her passive is slow and just makes you a clay pigeon, Nevermind the bug. Her tactical does so little especially for how hard it is to hit someone with how small it is and how long it takes to hit the ground. And her ultimate is just an evac tower. I’m pretty average at the game and I’ve ran into at least one Valkyrie every game or two and I’ve yet to be killed by them once this season.
I feel like Wattson should be out a little bit higher because even if alter can counter her dances it depends on how well fenced that Wattson is because you can’t always avoid all the fences plus her ultimate heals shields overtime so that’s very good
I love Valk. But i gotta be honest, she doesnt really have a purpose right now. You find Evac Towers in every second Chest or so. I hope they do something about her, no reason to pick her at the Moment over any other Skirmisher.

None of them, I think you should get Crypto or Loba
I decided to try playing again and the highest I’ve gotten in the bp for the past 9 seasons was 55. Every single time I tried it was not fun and a bunch of bugs. I mained Loba when she first came out and she kept having bugs. Each time she broke, they took forever to fix her just for her to break again! Switched to Valk on her release and had my first 20 bomb on her. They kept making bs changes and finally made her feel better with the perks. Got interested in playing again after barely playing last season only for my main to be broken again! Like seriously it’s frustrating that a company that gets a bunch of money can’t ever do anything. I wish I could have a refund for my account. I’m a week one player and how this game ended up is just sad.
I kinda wish you didn't have the wraith-tac when you came out of an alter portal. Alter definitely seems broken
I've been playing Alter since she was out, and I love her passive and tac, but her ult I've only set down like 3 times, and I've only used it once. It might be better with a team, but in solos, it's been pretty useless.
Cmon you should know by now pick rate doesn’t really mean shit. Most people solo queue and want to be legends they can get cool clips with. But Newcastle is built for support and the actual game. He’s way better than his pick rate suggest. He’s just not as noob friendly as say a Lifeline
I feel like every legend In the game is viable enough, valk could use a buff here and there, and maybe gibby needs an improvement to his upgrades, but other than that I'm very happy how this season is turning out

No one plays ranked anymore at high levels except cheaters
The fact that you put Caustic that high after again his nuts being dragged in the dirt. I'm confused how he's this high. Caustic gas has a cap. Which means they can sit in it and not die. It's not hard. The point of Caustic was that if you stay in it long it will get worse. They made his gas more visible for the enemy to see through and actually most times his gas doesn't show on enemy side when at the right distance. When you hold a building the slightest damage will activate the trap but a enemy can be 5 feet away and won't go off. Make it make sense.
The point of the gas isn't to kill, same as every other character's tactical. The damage isn't the main draw of Caustic's gas. Looking at an ability strictly for the damage is some Bronze 5 tier logic.
