📙 Backstory:
"A Forest's Lullaby" is an original composition I wrote in July 2022.
This piece is about solitude - getting away from everything else. Escaping to another "realm" and just being in your own thoughts. I especially wanted to capture this ethereal/dreamy-like state in this composition.

✨ Some highlights:
-The chord progression is a 4-3-2-1 progression (common in Japanese genres). The VI chords in between help give it an even more seamless transition, really adding to that "flow".
- Despite the largo section being a completely different tempo, it still flows well with the rest of the composition. This is due to heavy use of rubato and also the sixteenth notes giving the illusion of a faster tempo.

Oh god it’s so light and beautiful.. within the main story I’m writing, the scenery is completely otherworldly and the most important part is the magical forest that holds everything the world needs to live brightly. ​@@EdinKaso_Composerother composers would have been tempted to weigh this very airy tune down with lots of harmonies, complicated ornamentation, and tricky scales, but you had the confidence to know exactly what was needed and nothing more. Also, the piece sounds like the great fairy fountain theme from legend of Zelda ocarina of time.
