    Bio -
    Phil Daru is the Head trainer for some of the top athletes in the world and creator of Daru Strong Training Systems and founder of Daru Strong Performance Center. Daru has degrees in sports medicine and exercise science from Alabama State University where he played division 1 football. Holding certifications with Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC) Functional Range Movement Specialist (FRCms) and Kabuki Movement Specialist (NSCA-KMS).
    Daru then began a career in MMA and turned professional at 21 years old where he then developed his own systems for training fighters. Daru has also competed in strongman, bodybuilding, and Bjj Gi and No Gi and currently competes in powerlifting. He has worked with well over 200 plus fighters including world champions like Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Dustin Poirier, Edson Barboza, Junior Dos Santos, Frankie Edgar, Tecia Torres, King Mo Lawal, Andrei Arlovski and many others. Coach Daru is a two time award winning Trainer of the Year for the Florida MMA Awards and Nominated for the Trainer of the Year for the World MMA Awards. He has been globally recognized for his contributions in combat sports performance and has traveled to over 10 countries teaching and mentoring.       Triphasic yes heel elevated is based on the athlete not on a set ideology

    Hey coach, When would you say is a better time to implement Hypoxic training in a program? Would it be during a GPP or SSP or does it completely not matter?

    Coach, the supplemental exercises should be from the same muscle group as the main lift or the goal is to choose and exercise from the upper/lower body based on the day?

      Supplemental exercise should be a builder off of weak points or muscle breakdown off of the main lift

    Coach what is the goal of sngl leg rdl in this sesion? If its unilateral strength of postirior chain why not use B stance for stability and then create more stability.Or if the training goal is stability does it make more sense to do something that will give you more bunk for your buck?

      B-stance could be done but I wanted him to isolated completely and strengthen not only the hamstrings but improve strength of the intrinsic muscles of the foot and hips

    Ice bath prior to training limits circulation and recovery during and after right?, so if we are training in camp (for a goal) should this be avoided and done at a different time of day or is the GH/Test boost worth it?

      Theyre doing it before not after in the video. I think it limits recovery if you doit after the workout since it restricts blood flow. But before the workout is fine

      The HGH and Test boost won't enough to be beneficial at all. You have to be exposed to VERY high above normal levels for weeks to see any benefits. This is just mumbo-jumbo time-wasting mechanistic data.

      This is before the training begins to increase cns activation it would not impede recovery. In season training the goal is to maintain and recover.

    Any one know how to complete benginer practice the drill speed work in video by yourself ?

      You can simply work on start positions 5-10 yard starts at 3-5 sets
