These Eagles are incredible, and I have been watching them for a little over 3 years now every single day and there is nothing better than to turn on the Cam and see them in the nest. It seemed the season was over .. but Shadow is determined to get Jackies hormones going so he can add to his amazing legacy. He is working so hard wooing Jackie. We can only observe, learn and hope. When so many hard things to digest are in the media .., its a wonderful time to turn it off and turn on the Big Bear Valley Cam and see them in the nest and quietly watch our Eagles, Jackie and Shadow .. and instantly it wipes away all the anxiety and allows us to take in the beauty and majesty they display. Again.. thanks!!

This stuff makes me want to cry. All Animals feel. They all love their babies. These two are so caring and thoughtful. Although they can argue like an old married couple. 😂
Hoping for better weather. If I have to watch an invisible Jackie pick her head up from a pile of snow and shake her feathers off, as the howling wind nearly takes the branches down, I’ll have a nervous breakdown! This is days of our lives in an eagle’s nest.
I love Jackie and Shadow. Like the interactions between them. Both of them show off so many different things about them. These Eagles are a comical couple.

They were both in the nest rebuilding it furiously together on three occasions just this morning! There's going to be another clutch.
