- Something slow for the end of the year..
The Witcher 2 was a very emotional game with great music, game of the year for me, and I tried to "add" that feeling into this cover. I remember walking in the game world and when this song first played, entering the first town.. It was so awesome!
The original is composed by the great Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz.
As with all my stuff, I played this my way and well it's not perfect, but that's how it went.
Thanks to "Czarek7711" for the left hand notes on the main melody, you got just the right notes.

When I heard this song in original version for first time I felt like I was in an elven forest, this song simply contains something truly elven. But this version, is so beautiful and sad, I feel completely different atmosphere from this piece. It's like in this song is sealed sorrow of a thousand broken hearts.

This is a fantastic arrangement, I love the composers for this series (specially Adam Skorupa), this version actually makes the tune sound like something Uematsu would do i think

Very good...I thought I was decent piano player...but this is really amazing, especially at 2:30 + esepcially there at 2:45 onwards...it is just such a nide dramatic effect there...that is occuring in the base and the meoldy in terms of dynamic and meoldy, it was just really enjoyable. I lack the necessary vocabulary to express how great it was, but nonthless it was excellent.

I can imagine this being in the game, me playing it for the first time on my xbox 360, being mesmerized by the graphics, then this comes in.... Such a touching track for me, even the original, just makes me feel like I am there, like I can actually feel what Geralt feels. An absolute masterpiece.
