After I completed the reassembly, the phone wouldn't stay turned on. Is there something I'm missing? All the pieces went back in and all of the wires were reconnected.

It could possibly be the battery when you took it out. If it was warped or pierced it could cause the phone to turn on and off on its own. Either that or something got messed up on the board somewhere.

The 2 things you removed are 5G antennas, correct me if I am wrong.
